It sez here he wanted to make an anti-gun video game, and the origins of his point of view. But the Daily Mail article looks cooler.

I played the PIGPEN Sandy Hook game while it was Under Judgement, and voted to pass it. Was there an intended message? He had some links at the end which would've supported pro or con... At first I thought he was anti-gun (and maybe that was the message), but after you played, you had a machete option. If people want to kill, they will find a way. At least guns are traceable.

It's Tom's website, and I defer any and all policy to him. Though, strength comes from diverse points of view, not like what we have in government (two parties), or in the corporate world's dominance of all things on planet Earth.

With regard to the Sandy Hook massacre, I can't comment.. haven't followed up on it, but for previous instances of violence, I ask the curious NG member to look here and scan down a little - choose "School Shootings/Incidents", and check out how many prescription drugs played a hand in abhorrent behavior.

Ah... not a perfect plan, but at least you're thinking. Remember, everyone pays the piper: if you don't own the land you're on, you need to get permission from the landowner and probably pay rent. Water is a big deal, as is the need for heat and food.

Ive really been thinking about it. . .

Mr. Darkgrave has some good ideas, but it depends on where in the world you are, your resources... the more you have to move location, the for the luxuries - along term encampment could rival most modern homes, if you are prepared to work for your electricity.

What do you guys think?

There are many stories about uber-frugal folk living in hobbit homes, where the dearth of protected square feet, means very little need for heating and lighting... also damn little room to change, shower and for storage :\ Keep reading articles, many ppl have different madnesses that serve them well.

Response to: Heroes as alphas or underdogs Posted October 23rd, 2013 in General

It's a good thing I found Asterix (my user icon) at such an early age. He seems to be a hybrid of both extremes. Asterix is just a short, mortal warrior for a small village, but when he takes a slug of the village druid's Magic Potion, he becomes invincible (but not invulnerable).

His primary motivation is just to keep the invading Romans at bay, when the rest of his country fell under occupation. He doesn't need to be an Alpha to sock someone in the jaw, but when the shit goes down, his Potion evens out the odds considerably. He may have been foiled at times, but never beaten... singular hallmark for any hero.

Heh, already did that. Though to be fair, it was my buddy's idea, when we were in public access cable TV, in the late 90's. My character was Percible J. Ditchmudd, President of Powamutha. I forgot how I got elected, but it was cool.

The land of Powamutha is situated between the Western borders of Arkansas and Louisiana. Founded by local indigenous Indians, and strange white people in the 1920's, this enclave has successfully cut all ties with the United States, rendering it an independent state.

Anyway, that was 15 years ago, and I forgot most of the details. It's all on Hi8 and U-Matic 3/4" videotape, and I never transferred any of that shit to digital :| damn sad to say. But here's a Gob awful picture of Powamutha's President (1998-___). Nice to still be President of something.... if someone deposed me, I didn't see anything in mail or newspapers about it.
