I should've guessed lol! Try checking out O Brother, Where Art Thou? While not specifically about hobos and the vagrant lifestyle, it does show a bit of what it's like to be a 'DP' dispossessed person/dispossessed Pennsylvanian. My Mom and Pop grew up in the late 30's, before government handouts, and the modern hermit lifestyle. It was common for traveling folk to beg for food, door to door if necessary (also see Little Rascals), and my folks and theirs folks would not turn anyone away, who came asking . 'Charity begins at home' used to mean you'd help the people closest to you, because that was the American way, not lining up for Federal, State and county handouts miles away, because there was none |:
I'm surprised the Pinkerton guards haven't caught you and busted you up yet..... http://undernation.newgrounds.com/ has been around the block, he knows of the modern hobo culture as well. I'm presuming that's how he gets to his comic book gigs. Maybe @undernation would like to weigh in on this lifestyle...
So hit me with some questions
Ah, that kinda poi. I thought you meant the Hawaiian dish lol. Have you ever had to seek medical treatment, while on the road yet? Also, have you read 'On the Road' by Jack Kerouac? Have you ever stood alongside Mexicans looking for day work, or has your finances been good enough to live. Also, where can you get cleaned up and do wash without getting static?

There's been older ppl than that here, but they usually go inactive after a while. I guess the transition from Facebook is too steep, or this site is too... atypical for older internet folk to cotton onto. Anyway, let the roasting of old meat begin!
47 years old, and still kicking it around this kid's site, eh? Where does the time go? I'm not any better at 41, but I'm kinda jealous that you seem very comfortable here. I've gotten to know you pretty well the past year or two, and I'm really glad we're friends; brothers by another mother, you once said.
Happy birthday, my good friend! May all your wishes come true!

No, you're bang on topic. I almost ratted that submission out, because it spawned a pop-up, but it wasn't.. just another ad that took too long to clear. It's like some ear, nose, throat doctor somewhere commissioned all these, or maybe it's just the Japanese fetish for immaculately clean ears |:

Isn't that a little insane? You planning on creating a darknet version of NG? A buddy of mine had a 4U rack, should've given him a few bucks for it... as he's a scrapper.
Gah, there was a swap meet at the local drag strip this past weekend, had to wear a surgical mask to keep from coughing... despite the ban on hibachis :| I thought it was a wildfire, especially since the wind was up, and it was hella dry.
I like older GM vehicles too, but the newer ones are way too complex. In fact all new cars are too complex for their own good. If they'd just get the mechanical part down pat, then I could stand a little computer control.
So far my Pop's 2000 GMC Sierra is more or less okay, but the Toro diesel lawnmower, the 2 cyl John Deere A-type, and the Massey-Ferguson are all in need of TLC :|

Militia groups would just get in the way of the military, they're the ones who will be fighting a second civil war. Obama has taken a keen interest in making sure they abide by his executive orders, which includes some rather nasty stuff. I'm sure a lot of officers would not be willing to follow of lot of these orders, on the grounds it violates a citizen's rights. The other Federal agencies have armed agents, who've not sworn their allegiance to the people and Constitution... they would have no problem following illegal orders, or shooting on command.
Wriggle may be a nut, who doesn't understand the underlying issues that would precipitate a civil war, but the 'in case of emergency' laws that are on the books now, would certainly raise a lot of shit, if put in practice |:

I doubt it. There were working only 2-3 Poc for this 0-day. And NG is probably patched the security. I suspect something is very related to script injection...
Is it possible this breach was caused by someone hacking Tom's laptop? He's likely in a hotel now, using their Wi-Fi... how much can you get from packet sniffing?

Did she sound.. sympathetic when she said she was busy, any light in her eyes? You can usually tell when a girl is even moderately interested, if you can manage to leave your optimism at the door.I didn't really notice. I asked casually but I still felt really awkward. I'm 19 and she's 24.
She must have some desperate female friends hanging on, waiting for her leftovers... I know that's the case with some guy sluts anyway. Must be some nice girls watching fire dancing...

You're in college, yes? That makes it even harder to figure out, but @Thor might be right about her not being busy... maybe she wants some 'me' time, or a 'hen's night out' thing, if at all.

I'm a bit worried about a potential 'session cookie swapping' breach myself. Tom's got thing this weekend, and is likely in a hotel, using their wifi.... someone sniffing packets? I don't think admin is compromised, but Tom's account.... no, this looks beyond weird. If a select bunch of BBSers are affected as well, then something that hasn't been mentioned yet, is afoot!
This is the sort of thing the government wants. We know they got every Federal agency armed to the teeth, just waiting to depopulate the wolves from the sheep. It's gonna have to be up to Congress and the Senate to set things right again, but the odds are, the media machine will support the current mindset they've cultivated so far. Just support those in the military who stand for the Constitution, and we be alright.
What a revolting situation it is. And of course, right after the news carries that story, it's followed by the POTUS speaking at Fort Hood, scene of not one but two homicidal wildings.
If this was a case of bullying, whomever pressed this kid should answer for what he did.

Sounds like you need to use the Collabinator! There are several very competent, honest, programmers who are regulars here on Newgrounds. The trouble is vetting people who live so far away, and to work on a collaborative server... Also sounds like you would need a semi-official historian to do a proper weekly page. I'm being quite presumptuous, but maybe it's time to delegate some stuff out :p I wouldn't want to see you increase your workload, family guy.

As for the criminals, they often get their guns from other localities or states with looser gun laws. Depending on how they go about it these purchases may or may not be legal, but the practice is obviously made possible by loose regulations and could be curbed by tighter ones.
I agree, but it sure seems any time a new gun bill is passed, it's to add good laws along with bad laws. They're basically sugar coating a lessening of freedoms. Our government is afraid of armed citizens, plain and simple.
I'm glad there aren't any fatalities reported yet, radio said 4 were in critical :(The article the OP linked to says all four are expected to live. Let's hope it stays that way.
A guy on scene, said there were heroes in play: one kid pulled the fire alarm (big school, fastest way to evac), another kid stood between the slasher and the cop/security guy.
And the subject of bullying came up... in Jersey, Christie made a class for bullies and other 'potential dead-end kids'... not sure if that's effective or not. You can't legislate morality, it has to be taught by parents, and enforced by citizens, no matter the age.

Stricter gun laws only impact legal buyers of guns, the criminals and crazies will still have guns regardless. Obviously this kid's brain was boku boggled, I just hope prescription drugs weren't behind it. There's been a significant rise in that, ever since poorly performing students were given amphetamines, instead of proper psychiatric and academic help. Then it snowballed to mood altering medications... http://ssristories.org/old/index1.php?p=school

As previously stated, there are plenty of guns in Pennsy, and plenty more in the countryside. It takes the same amount of anger to wield a blade or a gun. Lets just be thankful he wasn't pissed off enough to want to outright kill.... or maybe he just though stabbing and slicing were more quiet, gave him time to assault more people.
Gun deaths are at an all time low in America, despite having shit-tons more guns per capita. When you live in a country where lies and bullshit are at the very cornerstone of civilization, you're bound to come away a little crazy. Especially when no one else seems to think so.... the sickness is progressive, and reaching a terminal stage.

Well, to be fair, when I was in school, they called that whole region the Soviet Union.. who knew where Ukraine was? Well, up until Chernobyl exploded anyways? I mean, there's a reason they call countries 'nation-states'. Ask someone from Ukraine where Indiana is, and get back to me.
I live in New Jersey, which is a fly-speck of a colonial state, and there's over a thousand towns here! This is only a partial list! I've heard of Bernardsville, but can only guess if it's to the North of South of me..... as long as you can find your way home.
