My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. Well it all sounds great so far, but there'll hundreds of unknown consequences and side effects we don't know about yet.
No doubt there'll have to be sacrifices to become 500 or so years old, but you'll probabyl have to live in a bubble with minimal movemant and capabilites, it wont be worth it.

Speakers Paper Cone Posted July 19th, 2010 in Audio

So I recently bought some speakers off eBay for a great deal, it says the only damage is cosmetic and that they're fully functional which is great because they're worth around £650 and I got them for £20.99 (+£25 roughly to hire a courier).
But it says the central paper cone on one fo the sub woofers is missing and I'm wondering whether or not it's a big deal.
Should I try and find a replacement? How much will that cost? How would I fix it? Or will there even be a problem at all?

Anyone help me out?

Pic related, it's them.
And here's the auction incase anyone needs any more pictures/details.

I would if I knew who the fuck he was, I only found out about it the next day when I tried using my headphones.

Anyways, my brother has really bad problems with the battery. Every once in a while, the battery goes down while his iPod's plugged in. Music can only go for 20 minutes and the battery's already shot down from 100% to 40%

My iPod's over a year and a half old and the battery hasn't degraded too much, but I guess it just seems that way because I rarely use it.

This means that any decision we make is truly one we have made, it's not the decision someone else has made, it's not what we wouldn't do because it's physically determined by our chemical conscience.
But chemical interaction never happens randomly, each process is the result of conditions in physics like minimising energy and entropy and what not. Essentially, you can just right down an equation for chemical interaction and check the resulting process is just the solution to a set of equations.
Also, those chemicals are produced for a reason that relies on math and physics.

I never said anything about these reactions being random, the whole point is that nothing is random and that therefore everything we percieve as a choice is predetermined by the chemicals in our brains.

Some idiot at a shitty party I was forced to go to (family friend, dads work together) tried to plug a 3.5mm power supply from the same adaptor that was powering the speakers into my ipod's headphone jack and that screwed the audio output up completely. This happened THREE DAYS after my warranty ran out which was just horrible timing.

The screen's cracked in two places, top from it flying out of my pocket whilst doing the windmill (don't ask) and the bottom from no idea what, just found it that way after a while of not using it.

The lock button at the top is really stiff and is jammed in so it only works if I press it quite hard at one side of it.

In order to fix the sound problem, I've gone through about 8 different dock line out adapters, wires and headphone amplifiers because when sound's going out of the docks, you can't change the volume. I started looking at adaptors because I figured it'd be cheaper than sending it off to get fixed but now it's worked out more expensive and much more annoying.

TL;DR, spend about £40 to get the port fixed and about £20 to get the battery upgraded/replaced and take good care of your iPod, most other MP3 players will seem shitty by comparison because they don't have WiFi and can't do half as many things.

Response to: Which level of hell for you? Posted June 27th, 2010 in General

As the ninth level, the Cocytus, is described as "Sinners here are frozen deep in the ice, faces out, eyes and mouths frozen shut." surely that means that the phrase "When hell freezes over" or "It'll be a cold day in hell before..." are redundant as hell is already frozen.

Maybe she WILL go out with me then!

Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis

You approach Satan's wretched city where you behold a wide plain surrounded by iron walls. Before you are fields full of distress and torment terrible. Burning tombs are littered about the landscape. Inside these flaming sepulchers suffer the heretics, failing to believe in God and the afterlife, who make themselves audible by doleful sighs. You will join the wicked that lie here, and will be offered no respite. The three infernal Furies stained with blood, with limbs of women and hair of serpents, dwell in this circle of Hell.

Hells yeah motherfucker. I'm pretty sure I'll be there with most of Newgrounds, particularly due to the "Do you touch yourself in am impure manner?" question.

Response to: I have a question about starvation Posted June 27th, 2010 in General

Some of them work under the assumption that as there is a very high infant death rate, the more kids you have, the more likely one of them is going to survive. Of course, this also means that food and water need to be shared across more people, so each gets less and is more likely to starve. But more kids also means more potential workers to bring in food and money.

Response to: Pranks Posted June 27th, 2010 in General

When we were kids, we would take a frog and insert one of those thin fruit box straws into its anus and blow it up like a balloon. We would then put the frog onto the water and let go and watch it speed across the creek. Sometimes the frogs would burst as we were blowing them up.

Good times.
