okay here's the deal guys. i'm trying to record all the voices for a cartoon me and my brother are making but i was getting a buzzing noise through the speakers. so i tried a few things and figured out it was because i had my mic plugged in next to me usb mouse on my keyboard. so i unplugged the mouse and got rid of the buzzing noise. now i'm just getting a low humming noise that i can't seem to get rid of. any ideas?
Okay so here's the deal. My brother and I are making a cartoon, and I'm looking for a song for the opening credit sequence. The problem is that the style of music for the whole thing is an old school hip-hop with Asian flare kind of thing, but I can't find anything, in the audio portal or elsewhere that has that epic feel i'm looking for. so i was thinking, "what if i could find a song that is a mix of orchestra and hip hop?" only i don't know if such a thing exists. so if you guys could help me out I'd really appreciate it. The scene approaches rapidly and then some scenes of ninjas running through the woods in the storm. I need something dramatic and kinda fast paced. thank you in advance.

Bamboo if you're a hobbyist, Graphire if you're a tad more into it, Intuos if you plan on making money or are super serious about your art, Cintiq if you shit gold bricks.
sir no need to be a smart ass, i know how to use google, in fact i searched multiple websites and read tons of reviews. i was more interested in hearing what other people's experiences were here since what i'm mostly using it for is animation. therefore, no better place than NG to ask.
picked up the bamboo, thanx guys for your input, took a little getting used to but i think i've got the hang of it now. it's waaaaaayyyyyy better than a mouse, oh, and no that didn't make any sense ^.^

I also fap on it on a daily basis.
so its durable then? weather resistant?
Thanks for your help guys, we'll see what i get friday when i get paid.
mostly i'm using it for flash. thats why i came here asking. i was reading alot of reviews on newegg.com and tigerdirect, and it seemed like people were having problems with thier tablets working with adobe products. i just wanna see what you guys use since that is what i'll mostly use it for is animating in flash and i don't wanna get something and then end up it not working in the one program i wanted it for. but yeah i think i'll try the one you said, it's only like $70 on newegg so if i don't like it it won't be that big of a loss.
yeah i was looking at that one, and i like the price but, isn't the size of the work area an issue?
from my experience acer's stuff tends to be cheaply made garbage. i've got an asus monitor tho it looks high quality, and it performs like it.

that's where i thought this was going.
I'm gonna keep this short and simple. Drawing in flash with a mouse sucks and I'm looking to do a decent animation. So, If you guys can point me in the right direction for what tablet i should buy, maybe just what you use, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
sweet. thnx guys.
When publishing to a .swf, does the amount of layers you use in the .fla increase the file size of the .swf?

she is a master of disguise. she could be the prince and we wouldn't even know it. i mean i think she's actually miley cirus.

why does the pope need money? doesn't he have like a whole city? if he's that strapped for cash, why not pawn off the jewel encrusted abomination he calls a hat?

Whites and blacks come from different CULTURES. That's why their skin color is different IN THE FIRST PLACE.
i'm pretty sure their skin color has to do with the part of the world that their ancestors came from. not what holidays they celebrate.
Racism exists. there shouldn't be any doubt there. the messed up thing is that alot of people are overly sensitive. for exaple. at my work the population is like 90% hispanic, and albout half of those people don't speak english. a couple of months ago the managers fired a bunch of people, for being lazy and/or harassing other employees. in total it was actually 4 people, the first was a white guy, the second and third were black, and the fourth was mexican. that day and for like a week after we had people bitching and moaning, some even called human resources claiming that they fired him because he was mexican. even though just a week prior to that 3 people got fired that weren't mexican. now i'm no mathematician but if 90% of employees are hispanic, and 3/4ths of people that were fired are non-hispanic i'd say that statistically favors the hispanic population.
but their paranoia isn't unjustified. they have to deal with it all the time. so we had this guy come in for some reason, and he was looking for some one. he walked past a black guy walked passed a Puerto Rican guy and came to me, (i'm white) and asked me where he could find some one. now i'd consider that racist. but unfortunately hatred just breeds more hatred for alot of people so now because they've had white people act racist toward them their whole life some of the hispanics at my work have become racist themselves. and now i have to be at the receiving end of racism.
meh i'm not worried. i'm just hoping we can sell alaska to china and call it even. maybe we can get sarah palin with it. win-fuckin'-win.
1. if you're punk rock wouldn't that mean doing what you want and not giving a fuck what people think.
2. it really doesn't matter. every band is different, there are plenty of punk bands influenced by rap. take rancid for example, after tim armstrong did his transplants project rancid started to have a little more of the hip-hop flow to it. but the opposite is true also, on of my favorite rap artists, Styles of Beyond, sampled an Iggy and the Stooges song. I've even heard Anti-Flag's "You Gotta Die For the Government" sampled.
3. you seem to be implying that rap is somehow less than punk rock. i'm curious as to why.
i would say speakers. i mean, if you're writing music, you're going to want to think about how people are going to listen to it. personally i think that's one major thing people overlook, and most of the time it doesn't sound too different. occasionally, however, (especially when it comes to equalization and balance) a song can have a totally diffrent feel in headphones as opposed to speakers.
that's genius! then we won't hafta go into the game knowing we're gonna lose. then they can have a new long drawn out story only for you to still lose anyway. just to be jerk asses.
pac-man... period.
i always thought the audio would auto loop if you left it alone. as in no AS or anything.
