Did most of y'all just had these weird sized envelopes just laying around?
I could not find a proper envelope for a good minute. At one point I was going to try to make my own but didn't want to risk my entry getting lost in the mailing system due to my poor envelope making abilities.

I want to see some more strips. I also disagree with the last comment about MS Paint. I seen some good web comics use it before, its all about how you use it though. You could use paint but its going to take time and practice for it to actually look good.

Back in the day it would have to of been Goldilocks... This is one of the few things I've found on in the portal that are truly on the path to true horror or being scary. :)

Oooh, What other scary movies do y'all know about out there?

One rule is don't use Comic sans font. Its just one of them fonts are horribly common and been used to death. Funny comic but only us internet slaves will get it.

It's just that the Art Forum and Programming Forum are a minority of the NG community, and have a lot less users online at any given moment. The question is, how long does each comic take you to make, and what do you use to make them?

It takes hours and hours.
One comic consists of
1. Concept
2. Sketch in pencil (prtty quick)
3. Going over the pencil marks with a pen or just leaving the pencil marks..
4. Scanning
5. Cleaning line art in photoshop
6. Coloring in photoshop (fun part)
7. adding word balloons (long tedious part)
8. Exporting.

Any more questions?

Thanks. I see this post isn't getting a lot of comments and in my past experience that could only mean two things. The strip isn't amazingly great or horribly bad, which is kind of good... If you being mediocre.

Does anybody have any criticism or thoughts on TwistedComix? I really want this to be one of the best comics out there.

Thanks for the feedback. Some jokes on the site most demographic won't get fully but I like to think the art compensates. I'm trying to stay away from "spoof joke" humor though. The comic I posted is something I thought everyone would appreciate comically.

Believe me, this idea has been brought up many times already. I love the idea. In fact, if I had thought it out more before, I would have went with that idea. But we've already started, and there is no going back. I don't want people to have to redo their parts.

I really don't think that anyone has gotten to the point that they are more than 5 seconds into their movie. if anyone is then you can dismiss this reply.

Another thing is the script. I don't know very much about the actual Batman storyline, and I wouldn't want to have to go through so many different ideas for a script, when I could just let everyone come up with their own ideas.

-I'm a huuuge Batman fan and Batman is the most versatile character ever. The only basics to his story is that he's Bruce Wayne, a rich multimillionaire playboy who is secretly is the Batman, a dark knight for Gotham City. Creating a very loose story line that we all approach creatively shouldn't be too difficult, such as
(example)
Scene one- Batman is alerted to trouble and gears up
Scene two- Batman is at the scene being told about what happens
Scene three- Searches for villian while doing detective work
Scene 4- Fights through gang of thugs to villian
Scene 5- Gets to Villian

But that could go anyway you want it to. If not then can we at least make sure the project isn't too random. Because when that happens the movie stops being serious and becomes almost Robot Chicken like.

It's just much easier this way, and I barely have enough time to even make my own part, let alone write a full script for everyone else to use. I DO love the idea, however.

I can see how you take this to be a daunting task but thats what Collaborations are for. We work with each other on this. Not just create a scene and send it off to you then we're not really collaborating, we're just putting fla. files together.

This isn't my first collab and I want this to be the next big thing to really show off our skill sets. It might be more difficult than the original idea but it'll definitely be worth it when we look back on it.

Your movie is great but its just not right for this collab. Swiftstylerx is looking for serious dramatic entries and a Batman vs Joker dragon ball z fighting sprite movie just doesn't fit. Maybe the sprite Tv 3 collab is more of ya thing.

To SwiftstylerX..

I really think it would be a good idea to have one story with multiple animators visualing each scene. Such
as Valentine '29 or the new released dvd "Gotham Knight". The collab would be more cohesive and assure that pieces would be created in a timely manner and be quality checked by the other creators in the collab.

Please consider this option, it would change a random collection of dark Batman themed submissions into a movie that could be followed and enable us to better ourselves with the art of storytelling.
