Would any writers (particular fantasy by any kind is acceptable) be able to give me some tips on write a long and detail storyline/lore-type thing, containing races, classes/magic, lots of characters, places, realms, artefacts, factions etc. that can all link together in an interesting history/timeline that can be dragged onwards possibly forever, or at least a very long time.

I particular link the World of Warcraft and Guild Wars stories and would be very interested in creating something similar.

Things I Need Help With:
- Characters and Character Development
- Timeline
- Linking Between Events and Characters
- Creating An Interesting Story
- Use of Artefacts throughout the story.
- Keeping Track of everything
