Jurisdiction determines who orders who around.

Military is federal so largely would be put in control if there was a situation where they need to work together. It's feasible though that there could be some form of situation where federal assistance is being provided but jurisdiction is given to the police based on their personal experience in the situation. Though such incidents would be few and far between I would imagine.

Not because of racism being natural but because its an inhernetly contradictory system.

Multi cultural socieites tend to end up segregated in some way. China Town, Jewish Quarters, migrants tend to flock to their own. So by encouraging them to maintain their cultural idnentity we are in fact making the problem worse by highlighting the differences between cultures, and when differences in cultures arise, conflict in some form ensues, and when in confined areas such as a host nation then the ptoential for conflict increases.

Easy to solve though, allow for cultural integration that has migrants adapting their culture to the host, and the host nation adopting certain favourable aspects of the migrant cultures such as food, music etc.

There's no reason why communism can't work on a small scale at a local level in terms of basic neccessities. You start moving beyond that and it starts to fall apart, but the blanket generalisation that ' communism doesn't work for people, period', isn't really accurate...

It can work in certain situations, just not on the national level, and certainly not the international level as the amount of resources and products produced is too great for the government to maintain and regulate.

I'd advise going for Thai Kickboxing. Its not a difficult martial art in itself, gets you in shape and is applicable to real world situations which some martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do aren't.

If you're intereste din mroe than jsut getting in shape though and are interested in the philosophy behind the martial art then I'd recomend something like Ninpo Budo or some of the more basic styles of Wushu.

DC is better in the fact it has the Vertigo imprint which has some awesome series like Preacher on it. But if we're jsut tlaking mainstream DC versus Main stream Marvel then Marvel is probably better.

They just have more believable charachters and seem to be happier with delving into issues and controversy that DC just stays well clear of.
