How do you do this without it looking all pixellated?

Make each of your sound files a movie clip. As a movie clip, it won't start until its loaded up. It's a pain but it works and its more reliable than just setting your audio forward or backward to be on time.

-One has to sound somewhat like Jackie Chan

-The other plays a "straight-man" type of role

Hey man, I was having the same issues. Anyways I ran into this post and it solved my problem (played fine when I tested it as a scene but the sounds were off by a 1000 frames when exported as a movie)

If you see TheL1st, thank him:

put your sounds in seperate movie clips, ino it sounds like a pain but its necessary for good flashes
this removes ALL syncing issues because the sound cant get ahead of itself if it doesn't exist yet

I'm creating a school presentation, and I was wondering if I could put a flash movie in powerpoint. If not, is there any way I can convert flash into somethat can work with powerpoint?

Why don't you create a sample of your work and show us?

It doesn't have to look fancy. Go on google, grab a few premade images like this knight,dragon, and background then code a sample level/round whatever. Drawing can take a good hunk of time. If people know you can actionscript, I'm sure they will be glad to draw for you.

I'm trying to do the old movie effect like on on this tutorial. However, he only explains how to do the burnt marks and not the random appearing line. I've tried applying and adjusting the actionscript of the burnt marks, but the line just goes all over the place.

I also like that its geared towards college students. Seriously, high school students don't have to deal with $500 dollars in textbooks and 3000 dollars in tuition EACH semester.

Pit is the main character of Kid Icarus. Think of of him as Link but with wings. Only had two games with a starring role in Captain N: The Game Master. Other than that, he has been neglected ever since :(

Anyways, I've just now finished character art and music crunching.

I'm still working on the background, animation and sound effects.

If you play a song sample and not the whole thing, they don't care. If they did care, they would probably give you a C and D rather than go through the trouble of sueing you. But either way, you still should give credit to the music artist.

If you are really stressed, you should check out the audio portal since there are thousands of royalty free music.

All you do is say you'll do it, put down who you want that isn't taken(or put unspecified hero), and just wait.

If your email address isn't in your profile, than it would be wise to put down that as well.

Take note that not all the characters are set in stone either. If people drop out, that character will be avilable.

If you are that much of a fan, why don't you join the waiting list? No one is stopping you or saying you can't except yourself. And like I said, those that have no interest will drop out. Its like that for all collabs.

Now look, the submissions aren't due until the 30th... but the date of confirmation, isn't set until the 12th. Just because you are on a waiting list doesn't mean that the people who are on the list, are set in stone.
