myelin sheeths just keep action potentials moving at a fast rate, strenghtening them wouldn't do a thing. what you COULD do was make them thicker thereby increasing the speed of the signal, but that wouldn't really do anything in terms of memory loss.

In the episode of the Boondocks where Mr. Freeman was overshadowed by Rosa Parks (the black lady who wouldn't move to the back of the bus), why was he ignored when the white guy clearly saw him and ignored him and focused on the black lady to move.
