Whose to say what is true and what is not.
Think about it. Science does not leave room for an all-powerful invisible God that knows all and sees all. The idea of infinity cannot even be fathomed by science.
Science is built on the ideas of the seen and observable world. God is the unseen God. In fact, Judaism and Christianity lest I forget Islam all speak of a God without man-made form. Christianity and Judaism are the only faiths that do not put the believer in responsibility for his or her sins. There must be a sacrifice by a perfect being. Which in itself is a problem for science, Science can only base itself on tangible and probable circumstances.
Science is limited by mans abilities in themselves to observe and infer on what is rational.
The concept of God is irrational. I can understand why so many atheists find creation or religion so hard to fathom and to believe. Most atheists want a clear concrete picture of truth and fact.
A religious person is honestly an irrational thinker by default. We believe in faith which is based off irrational principles. A God that is infinite, a savior born without a male seed, a world that could be young and miracles that logically defy science.
To be religious or seek after a faith is a ridiculous claim to science. Oddly, if God exist, he is the most irrational being ever. He defies science.
The reason why religion especially Christianity is despised by science is because by nature it defies reason.
A question is there such thing as a rational scientific God. My answer is no. Christianity teaches that we will be viewed a lunatics...princes of fools among men and women. Why are we so quick to pick on science. Science has no place for God because of its nature to be observable and provable based on experiment.
I may value science as a teacher but as a Christian I must accept that I am too an irrational thinker. This does make me a fool among men but therefore saved unto my God.
