Anyone can help on this? Or assure me that everything is okay? Anything at all; I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for reading!
it looks oke. maybe downsize her left eye a bit, its seems a bit big in comparison
'ello again.
So i'm working on a scenery picture with which I have very little experience. its for the 'win a tablet' competition. I thought I might learn some background skills.
I included my progress, but I dont think its worth commenting on yet (just starting to get in some details). What I am here to ask if anyone knows some good tutorials on sceneries like this. I have found some, but they are a bit lacking in technical information.
actually I am hoping people may have tips on creating stuff like this, and tell me about pitfalls which I should look out for etc etc.
its gonna be a shadow of the colossus reference
decent sales for such stuff. I might look into it myself
that Shawn dall dude hunts my dreams btw, he's scary as shit.

well its more or less what warhol did. but how you describe it no... then again who the F am I
I dont want to ruin this little party going on here, but isnt talent a factor here too? I mean you can probably become a reasonable artist with practice alone. I consider myself to have no talent yet am able to produce something because of reasonable photoshop skills. I assume I can even get better, but I will never be able to become a talented artist, nor will I ever belong to the sub-top not even remotely close.
So to be harsh OP's art is terrible, like 12yo terrible like he states. I would strongly advice against his dreams of becoming a graphic artist. he should atleast be better now (he's 21). Its nice to be nice, but I am inclined to burst his bubble. its not ever gonna work out.

will it get u scouted?
no.
since most of you are now coming home from work, school or whatever ill bump this a last time to ask advice in regard of the pupil of the top eye

umm i think the actual location of the eye is fine (maybe a little more to the right?) but i think whats not working is that it's too bulbous. you know, bloated, in comparison to the bottom eye.
and I think you were right. I changed it, but actually I didnt ask my question correctly. I was having problems defining the location of the pupil, not so much the whole eye.
idk, changing the upper eye lines made it somewhat better, but still I am not sure if I should replace/resize the pupil of the top eye.
surely this is fake, as in; trolling, lost a bet, whatever.
this is just a joke

I might say something stupid, but I dont get it. these are digital art pieces right? what does you and ur partner moving in together has anything to do with you selling digital art? its not like you lack space to store them. Or are you soley in need of money? (for me thats a bit of a non reason since im always in need of money.. and power, unlimited power)
Also are these really difficult to make? I mean I think I can reproduce the one you added here pretty quickly, yet you ask a pretty hefty amount.

how do u do the linework? by hand? idk what program ur using but surely there is a pencil tool or something. or is it an intentional choice? just wondering, since theyre so scribbly.
ur coloring technique is really recognizable, so this too may be intentional, but you tend to blur your colors and shading so hardcore that the linework stands out too much imo. you have these crisp black lines and these very blurred shades and colors. its difficult to look at.
Hi,
Could somebody please help me with the location of the top eye? I cant figure out a good position.
Also; if someone has any suggestions on highlights making the squid a bit more dynamic that would be much appreciated.
thank you.

I am...
its funny how lots of people are in need of BG artists. there seems to be a market for this. funnily enough creating a BG is harder then one might think.
is there a payment? (im not interested, but I know people wanna know)

You see! it isnt that hard to put up a decent, clear and well described request.
I just wanted say this is a solid art-request thread, which seem extremely rare (the being solid part).
Hope youll find someone soon
went through all your pics, theyre nice, and often enough funny. theyre a little sketchy and sometimes a little unfinished. they also arent really detailed, but still good.
only I dont understand the complaints about the scores. you average around 3,2 points I think, which is pretty high. your lowest score is 2,34 which is still high... sooo whats the problem?
when does this contest exactly close? and how soon will you announce a winner?
fkkn maficmelody wippin out awesomeness just before the deadline
ha, a small god just liked your work. I would be drinking to that.
im just sayin what everybody is thinking.

im sorry, I am having a bit of difficulty believing this is all yours.
I have been wrong before though.
in any case these are overlays, which is fine in my book, but dont really show much of your talent. is that eye yours? cause I love that one, but shouldnt the pupil be less diffuse?

I dont think anyone else will contribute anymore considering.
yes I got that and I know you mean well, but there isnt really much to dislike or like for that matter. Its a very simple logo and your criteria were met. So what is it that you want then? 'cause I certainly have no clue anymore.

I made the spikes less pointy, but I won't make any more changes to this. If you don't want to use this, no prob.

One of the things I wanted to include in the fourth issue were character profiles to give a little more information and background (and proper names) to some of the characters. The reason there's all that white space is because it's going to be filled up with text in the final version. I'll probably write the text by hand, just to stay consistent. Plus I've got pretty good handwriting.
I was wondering where you went.
tbh I personally very much dislike character profiles. It gives such a "game" feeling to it. The information should become apparent naturally, while reading the stories. Also I wouldnt care about her weight or exact size and that kinda thing.
If youre gonna include information, like if she was raised by a single mother or whatever and that does not come back in the story its totally stupid, apparently irrelevant, information, but if it does come back in the story why put it in an information sheet?
I feel that those sheets need to be made by fans, who read it and are willing to summarize the character.
On the other hand, if youre creating non linear stories, someone might not understand certain references, So I guess I understand why you want this.
