i'm not either and it looks like a lot. Someone was obviously supporting Neo Geo since it was alive for a long time. It's a bit shocking it ever died because I have a feeling that there's still collectors out there of it. Of course mostly people that are very wealthy.

How many games came out for Neogeo? Posted September 18th, 2014 in Video Games

I tried googling but couldn't find out my answer. I know this console lasted from 1990 to 2004. If I had to guess I would probably say around 70 American game releases?

Wow, I know that they usually lie about system requirements but this is one of the first times I seen them lie about how much ram someone needs. The minimum requirement is 6gigs of ram.

Call of Duty: Ghosts.

I'm hearing 6 gigs is a requirement or is that bullshit and its just that my performance might take a slight dip? Also, when they say 6 gigs are they including my 2gig videocard because if so that means I do actually have 6 gigs of ram I believe.

Dead Rising 3

6 GB

OS:
Windows 7 (64-bit)

Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 or AMD Radeon 7870

I just failed the 6gigs requirement on systemrequirementlab. Is that shit for real? I thought ram is only for loading for the most part. I should be able to still run this on 4 gigs right? I have never heard of a pc game requiring 6 gigs.

Where else am I suppose to get Old Nes Cartridges from? I don't know of any retro stores near me and I'm sure retro stores are probably even more expensive to buy from.
How about emulators? You want to play it on a tv, connect your computer to a tv. It's a lot less expensive

Emulation is disgusting word. Emulation will never give the same feeling as it does playing on a real original Nintendo. You feel like a kid again playing on an original Nintendo. That and doesn't Emulators usually have sound issues and other graphical problems since its Emulating.

I own over 70 nes games that work perfectly fine on my Nes. LOL, at being my Nes.

Response to: Why even buy WiiClassic games Posted September 1st, 2014 in Video Games

If someone is on a budget, I guess emulation isn't bad. However I still prefer to play games on the consoles they were intended to be played on personally.

Response to: Why even buy WiiClassic games Posted September 1st, 2014 in Video Games

Why play retro games on a new device anyways? Why not play them on the console they were meant to be played on? I could understand if the game is some ridiculous priced snes or nes cartridge that someone wants 500 or 1,000 dollars for but really? Emulation will never beat playing on the actual console the game was intended for in my personal opinion.

Response to: I got another dead game from Ebay. Posted September 1st, 2014 in Video Games

I have an update and its not a good one. The game is still a piece of crap and the only time I can get it to work is if I blow in it over 20 or 30 times real hard. The sanding method didn't fix it at all. I am guessing that my Father is correct when he says something inside the cartridge other than the contacts might have gone. I still get the weird text and muddy graphics too. Only reason I'm keeping this case is just incase I end up buying this game again in the future and decide to switch out the game's motherboard part into the cleaner looking cartridge. Not too sure I want this game in my collection anyways. It's not a bad game but what I've played of it makes me think it's not a game I should rush out and get again.

LOL, I think I partially brought it back to life but the cartridge is still defective. I think it now works atleast temporarily and the graphics are a bit muddy looking. It's hard to explain but it's definitely not how its suppose to look because I've seen video of it running on youtube. The text is still screwed up and barely readable like some wheres on the cartridge something had gotten ruined. I used sandpaper with some alcohol on it and carefully sanded some of the dirt off it. I think thats why it might be playing now. However I don't know where to exactly sand at next to see if I can stop it from creating the Muddy graphics. This is becoming a huge project now, but my ass is too cheap to pay 7-8 bucks for a good condition cartridge of this game.

No it isn't. Selling broken items doesn't matter, it's how they respond to it. Message them describing the probllem and ask for a replacement or a refund before leaving feedback.

I know this already but it's a hassle sometimes and sometimes the seller is obnoxious to deal with. They'll lie to me and say "Well, the game was working when we tested it". So they'll continue to say its on my end just to be asshats. And after me begging them to do the right thing and refund me it's not like I can leave feedback to warn users about how obnoxious it is to deal with sellers. That is why it's flawed in my opinion.

As for ebay sellers:

1. How much have they sold over time?
2. What is their rating?
3. How many positive reviews do they tend to get?

Try to ask yourself that stuff before buying, will help in the long run.

The rating system is flawed on ebay because i noticed people with 100 percent, 99 percent, and 98 percent still sell broken items.

Obviously I been running into bad sellers lately, but don't know why. Am I unlucky lately? I have had discussions with god lately and have cursed at god. i am wondering if this is some type of punishment from god or just coincidence. I don't even know if god is real or not even tho I talk to what I believe to be the creator of life when I jog. I get upset about all the wars, abortions, and drugs on this planet. It just shocks me a bit because only about 3 or 4 months ago I was buying games without any problems with them. I am trying to figure out why all of a sudden there seems to be a ton of broken games on ebay.

Can it be brought back to life?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YK5-3yAklk

If anyone can help me out i'd greatly appreciate it. As I said already the seller reimbursed me in full. When I buy stuff on ebay and the item doesn't work I tell the seller that if they want this item back they will have to pay for the shipping. Obviously many sellers are not testing cartridges that they own and are just assuming they work. But as I said earlier,

I'd like to know if there's a way to bring this cartridge back to life even if I was refunded because I felt the seller wasted my time by sending me a game cartridge that seems unfixable. I cleaned this with rubbing alcohol, eraser method, and even the blowing method that sometimes can bring dead games back to life. From this video you can obviously neither of these methods worked too well. Don't knock the blowing method even tho some people claim it harms the cartridge because I've bought games in the past that didn't work on the first try even after I cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and then when I blew in it, it came back to life permanently.

Some people claim its how the contacts are going into the console that determines if the game will play and not the actual blowing but i feel that is a myth. The reason I feel that is a myth is because I've test that theory by taking the game out and putting it back in several times and a game won't start until i blow on the contacts of the cartridge.

Democrats do a great job at dividing the Country. They love whats going on right now because that's how they profit off it. Al Sharpton falsely accused those lacross players of raping a Black girl and hasn't apologized since. The evilness of the Democrat Party and their brainwashed supporters is showing.

Response to: This is the thread on Michael Brown Posted August 25th, 2014 in Politics

Why is it that every time a black criminal is killed by a white cop that we get riots and people pushing for charges on the cop? However if a black cop kills a black, white, or hispanic criminal the LIBERAL MEDIA is quiet about that? Yes, Mike Brown was a criminal and no I won't stay silent on the day of his funeral because he lived his life as a criminal and died as one. We already seen the video of him stealing and assaulting from a clerk only 15 minutes before he was shot dead by a cop. I am sick of this *beep* in our Country.

We have evil people like Democrats and Al Sharpton that love to create fake racism in the black communities so they can profit off it which ends up creating REAL RACISM and real Divide between people. You sons of a bitches make me sick to my stomach and you are not REAL Americans. I'm not talking about the blacks that are brainwashed by the Liberal Media to only view society as a black vs white society, but the Media in general that contributes to them thinking this way. Black Americans are Americans just like everyone else, but the Liberal Media makes this fake racism narrative for ratings and I'm really fed up with it.

I wasn't sure, however I did google something and found information on one of those wiki pages that did say back in 2006 Matt Groening's son was a fan of Newgrounds. Maybe I got it mixed up and that he never submitted flash work, but was just a fan of this website. Either way if Matt Groenings son does have an account here they probably want to be left alone instead of people adding them only because he is the son of Matt Groening. People want to be looked at as people, not just the son of someone famous I would think. Sadly I don't know the guys name otherwise I would refer to him as his name instead of Matt Groenings son because thats kind of rude in my personal opinion.

Did you see the 5 minute preview of this episode? I thought it was pretty hilarious. Or are you saying they probably showed the best 5 minutes in that preview and the rest of the episode will be garbage? I believe this is a double episode so that would be what about 40 minutes or so with 20 minutes of commercials?
