And now something selfish...
DANG I love my dress gloves, suit, and top hat. It's quit the outfit and rather comfortable. Plus - the top hat makes me feel and look good. :3

Please, Tom no more egorapter merchandise.

Let's see some actual NG merch. Something with Scrotum the Puppy, FDA, StrawberryClock, All Your Base, and others. Though I see the sense in making merch for what's most popular (as the most popular would most likely be the ones to actually sell) and call me a retro-NG-cunt but, I really think ya should pay tribute to some of the flash that stood out early on in NG's history which didn't pave the way but, gave us the first glimpse of the NG personality or vibe.

Thus far the stores nice, but I really don't like seeing large amount of works from the same artist despite their popularity. I'd like to see work from artists that best represent the NG community along with the ones popular enough to earn a spot in the store.

Math I didn't enjoy in school at all and purposely slacked off. Ended up in Math 10 Daily and eventually Math 11 Essentials (Dummy math in Canada). I liked the art classes, PE, lunch, and the end of the day. Their was not much in school I liked. The entire thing was a negative experience.

Anyway I still dislike math and discovered that shortly after graduation I'm not the only one who decided to try with effort to not do math. My friends and I refuse math and use calculators or wait for one of us in the group who doesn't to do the math. Even when I do math to program I have the calculator open. Even easy things like 8 X 7 I do on the calculator cause I'd rather not waste the front stage thinking on small things while I'm trying to balance what I'm doing and all the thoughts in the back-brain.

A final thing about school I disliked. I was squeezed through cracks by teachers, had fake letters written by my parents, and eventually sat on my ass and was babied all the way through school until I was graduated. Where I come from you don't try to graduate. It looks too bad for 'em so they just keep sqeezin' ya through to the next year and put ya in classes even if ya failed the prereq the year before - they'd rarely check and rarely give a shit.

Now where most would love a system to get you through there were horrible effects. No teacher took the time to explain anything to me, I don't feel I actually learned that much, I forgot most stuff during summer break anyway except for basic stuff. But anyway from being squeezed through I'm a slacker in Uni with no skills from my entire 12 grads of schooling and have slim chance to "find a path" like most people. Though thats just how it feels to me. My sister bugs me saying I'm smart so maybe I've just perceived the entire this way and I'm just not aware of the skills I learned in grads K - 12.

Aldous Huxley I think is quoted saying he learned more a few hours high on Peyote or Mescaline then he did 4 years in Harvard. I haven't been to Harvard, but damn here's right.

Maybe 7 cents. lol Can't put NG flash ads in porn. :P It's cool, plan "B" is they bring in some publicity and I'm gettin some nice traffic on my site.

I like the words "stoop to that level". I like to explore everything. I've been influence heavily on some of the poets I've been reading like Walt Whitman who's writes poems from the perception of someone watching a baby being born with their head right their between the legs watching, or inside the branches of a dead tree during a snowfall. Their are no limits to what can be embodied and their should be no limits on my work I see also.

I do this much with my poetry as well. I hope to jump around flash just as much as writing. I've had a few non-Duder flash ideas all quite imaginative I'll make one day.

But honestly - ya I'd be happier if some hentai site just bought those for like even $40 each to help with the bills. lol Their is an undeniable awkwardness in it all. However sometimes ya gotta do things that scare ya cause ya never know what you'll get. It's an adventure.

Ah, that's a great part of flash. It's as mobile as words and just as descriptive. The treasure hunt proves this too. An imagination tool which spawns, Duders, Patchman, Exile, Luis' online persona, DICK NECK, and etc.

Yawn. I got two hentai games made using sound fx of my fancy mic recording my dog slobbering and licking his lips. One was originally being made for hentaikey.com, but I changed my mind. These things take one 8 hour day to make. Much simpler then huge side scrollers. Still this is the last time I wish to mingle in hentai. I'm curious at what the ad profit will be considering the amount of hentai fappers - I mean fans that come to NG. I'm hoping a lot will watch - then I get to make fun of an army of fapping kids that fap to curvy movieclips and graphics accompanied by the sound of a dog. lol I can also laugh at the irony that I was once one long ago and I came to NG the first time looking for hentai in my youth - I'll never let down that's how I found this place so I suppose I owe some sort of debt to hentai bringing me here so I shall repay it by contributing some hentai to the NG hentai collection-thing - despite a large awkward feeling not only creating these but, putting them out there.

Theirs a fear of people demanding more of this kind of stuff from me - while I'm also hoping this is just a real good attention grabber to get me notice. If I can turn enough heads - some may see the Duders. If all my Duder toons had thousands of views with people telling me to stop and no more - the series ain't good, etc. then I would stop it or fix it. However Duders flash rarely reaches the 2000 view marker so theirs not much of an opinion on 'em except for the few helpful reviews and score.

Originally was hoping for some sort of job in flash development even if it were hentai - decided to stick with the Duders though. I feel I just need a lil' more patience and always just that next episode or game away.

On another note: Darryl tells me I should convert each of my flash to video and put them on youtube urging me that I would for sure gain both more recognition and publicity - but, maybe get a good amount of fans. I hold strong that I will never do that. I told Tom Fulp a long long time ago the Duders home is on Newgrounds. DuderEntertainment.com is my lil' internet hermit HQ for me to display what I wish and link my work. The audience for the Duders is here. NG holds true to Everything by Everyone.

Fuck. Sorry guys I wanted this to be a paragraph at most and it seems each time I post here it's like I'm delivering informal essay of my flash status to my beloved peers and fellow NGers.

Final things. I lost my job as a concrete worker - which explains me job hunting online.
Been diggin' ditches and workin hard in building my garage into a suite. Hopefully will move in by end of the month.
My book is nearing completion.
And I'm enjoying the treasure hunt a lot. I've made sure to watch almost each one. I look forward to the series category to see if anyones remembered to watch the Duders. :3 lol

Peace guys. Sorry for the big read - no feelings harmed if ya blow a lot of it off.

I'm really buzzed from two cups of coffee this mornin'.

I don't understand animating on caffine guys - it's too fast, too rushed, they say the coffee helps and makes ya more creative but I can't be creative when the thought I'm thinking about is a few sentences ahead of me.

On the other hand its Hilarius because it makes animating so intense. Though I like drawing when my hand stays still and find a lot more control z-ing happens on coffee.

Anyway enough I have a midterm in poetry to take today and then poetry to write. Wish me luck my reg peeps!

Little Things in games

Lil things are important. Like having a lil' sound FX play each time the character hits the ground. I did it in demenius darkness but I'm fumbling figuring it out in my next game but got some ideas. Other things like in-game dialogue separate from cutscenes. The dude walks up to some traps and the character has his own comments. Really helps playing as the character or getting into the created world.

Backgrounds
I feel I have more experience as a character animator. lol As my favorite bits are focusing on makin the animated dude come to life with the right blinks and facial expression or arm movements. Can't wait til the more action filled Duder episodesto animate more violence. But ya I feel I'm a shit BG artist though I'm getting there. Perhaps the next peice of mine to the art portal will be a practice BG. I'll have to take a good look at some of Adam Phillips animations to learn how it makes it so beautiful - I bet just looking at it I can pick some things up.

Oh shi-
Midterm starts in 30 mins and I'm a 35 min walk away. Peace guys!

Have any of you payed it all by yourselves or are going to pay it all yourselves ?

I've payed for every dollar of my uni, classes, books, and all the fees. Everything. And ffffffffff..... it's cost me. I don't like the idea of loans and debt so I may be nearing the end of my uni days soon. Thankfully in the 2 years thus far I'm happy that I explored different subjects. Though now I am really trying to find something that goes somewhere. I never wish to work labour for the majority of my life.

I want to get into somethin artsy - writing, filmaking, flash, internet television, etc. Only taking poetry classes right now cause the campus I'm going to teaches philosophy, some writing, some theater, and mostly dentistry. Getting my license would be a good idea - then I could drive - but then more cost from air care, gas, car accidents, and court time after I run someone down in road-rage.

Flash tricks

I've never used motion guides - I forgot how. I was taught it along with tweens, and basic stop play and button pushing actionscript 2.0 way back in grade 9. I'm self taught but I really feel I owe a lot to how much I've grown on the support of others, the few compliments that ment so much, the astonishing eye-opening advice, and overall changing flash mentors and forever flash mentors I probably will always look up too even if a few years from now I'm collabing with them as equals on projects.

My main trick is drawing with a wacom instead of a mouse if ya call it a trick - though I find myself colouring with the mouse most of the time - perhaps cause its faster and easier for me. It's weird using the wacom pen to reach all the way to the colour thing to change the thing so your pen size is smaller or colouring inside or outside the selected vector colour material. Sometime back I found out how to paint selected or not too which I think is my fav trick and makes colouring easier when ya can just select what ya wanna colour.

Saving back ups is an excellent trick. Learned this one late and lost of large project once. (original duders ep 2 :*C) I rarely use any hotkeys...... actually I think I know Ctrl Z for undo which is basic, and ctrl shift z and c or just c or some shit for the opitmization of the curse tool thing which is really hopeful for both lowering filesize and cleaning up the drawing - but sometimes it actually makes the drawing look worse and I get pissed using it sometimes cause then those arent the lines I drew anymore - I let the computer violate my work and turn my art into its. Horrid feeling. Like a mothers egg bein' stolen and aten by a snake.

Only other trick I can think of now to make things easier/better. Havin' the audeo and actionscript layers at the top. keeping the entire timeline organized, and having your entire library organized - that means a folder called lines for all the lines, a folder called mouths for all the mouths, BG for all backgrounds, etc.

Wacom tablet

This post has given me passion towards my beloved wacom tablet. I'm going to take this time to give my thanks to my Wacom for all its time it's let me use it to draw my animations, roll joints on, eat dinner of off, and as a weapon to smack my anime-obsesed friends with while bored.

Thank you wacom tablet. :3

I would love a giant ant farm as a pet. Easy to take care off and interesting to study their behavior and what kind of tunnels they tunnel.

Also poetry classes are going great. I'm doing some independent study on campus in my free time. I'm researching all delicious types of poetry... prose and haiku I plan to get into next though I plan to try my hand at writing a monologue.

Furthermore, funky picture is frighteningly funky. Hurray abstract photo-manipulation... or at least I think thats what its called. its fun to experiment with.

I've been very active these last week and few days off work and back at uni. But with flash people.

I'm saying it now - if their ain't going to be a NG meet close to my parts in B.C. Canada then I'm going to be the sucker to host and pay for it. Assuming I can round up enough people to go also assuming people would come, fly, or actually live in the general area.

What day is it? Tuesday? Shitty... much to early in the week to get drunk. Where's that peotry book I'm writing? I guess I'll pick that up....

DING!

Remember how I was workin' on a game few months back and couldn't get the game over screen to work?
I'm not a programmer and never got it workin' working at it on/off so I said fuck it and decided to turn it into a very interactive Duders short. Theirs a few lil' things that still annoy me 'bout it, but I got no time to focus on remaking the programming for an old game. Glad to see I found a way to get it out there though.

The story for the game - the scenes are special to me. This was one of the first times in a bit I managed to recreate what I imagined almost exactly how I'd like it and it turned out wonderfully.

Ive discovered my own art inspires me to animate even more - especially when the other Duder E. staff compliments it.

I like this. I feel I've made it to another stepping stone up the way. I look at my last 4 submissions and they all have a great new look to 'em that was the look I was after when I started animating. No offense to the Super Flash Bros, but starting off with tween inspired card board cut out characters was probably not the best first step. Especially just getting into flash - it wasn't until Jay Short 1 & 2 and Jay Vs. Val 1 that I started FBF and mixing the two.

Yes happiness. I have found my style for sure and I can now only continue to improve upon it.

And one small correction I should mention since I just reread that now when I posted it which reminds to read posts fully before posting.
It be nice having a boss, at an animating job, that WOULD and DOES boss me around to get A LOT of work done. An animating job where ya animate a lot is good practice for animating as a hobby/life/dream living on the sides.

College is a silly place. Everyone in the one I went was all one of two stereotypes I most definitely did not get along with... Snobby rich kids and church kids. If their was one metal head, punk, stoner, internet person, or gamer I'd be happy.

I HAS JOB

I work 6 in the mornin to around 4 - 7 depending on the days. Concrete work. Laying the foundation to poor the concrete in and stripping it when its dry. Worked two days now. First day I hit my leg badly with a hammer, gave myself lots of blisters, didn't pace myself and nearly threw up many times on the tired way home. Today I paced myself but I think it bein an easy day had a big thing to do with the small amount of tiredness I experienced.

The work environments cool. I never thought I'd be in construction though. After this any brainwash-blank-minded-company-slave cubical robot job may actually be not so bad and bearable. Physical labor ain't too hard as long as ya drink ya water and eat a big breakfast. I could site down, cyberslack, drink coffee, all infront a computer all day.

Plus I'm a scrawny fuck. I never knew I COULD do construction. It be wonderful animating for a living though, not livin off the Duders, being an animator for a movie, cartoon, or something as actual work. It be great practice havin' a boss who's not me commanding me to draw this, animate that, and do this now. The practice and experince would be highly beneficial to my animator skills (or whatever I have).

I'd like to also mention that I screwed up at work and hurt my finger with string and still can't feel the one side of my finger - it's completely numb on one side.

My boss drinks a lot and bugs me about how I smoke pot. Randy my friend told him all 'bout me. It's cool. He's a nice guy. He isn't for the herb himself and likes to poke fun at my with stoner jokes. He gave me peaches to eat today after work. They were incredibly juicy and tasty.

I guess it's true that every artist needs a day job. Mines concrete. I want everyone to try to image lil' hick mullet-head me with a colourful vest and a hard hat workin in a consruction site... with my hippie-like attitude.

First thing I save up for is a $180 USB mic with a $24 round circle sound filter. I'll have great audio quality for the Duders with that and for music. I never quite feel that my friends take Duders as serious as I do sometimes when we have such cheap low-quality equipment. The wacom is old now and all inspiration it brought to the Duder staff is dead. I'm hoping this or some other thing I think of can get my men motivated. Just my friends being excited or amped about somethin' Duder gets me SUPER AMPED - able to go into mullet-man-mode EXTREME UBER OMEGA.

I've been gettin' myself amped with the newest game I've been conjuring up from the depths of my mind and old games of mine. Waitin' on voice actin' from Duder staff and callin' in a special guest voice actor.

And now a DUDER STORY!

Gee such a long post. Such worthiness to be called a post this post. Never before or at least in long time have I posted such a post.

First day at work my friend Randy who got my the job and also works there yells "Thirsty?" at me. Tired from the last few hours of work in the hot sun I didn't hear to well, but I managed to make out him yelling "Whiskey?" to me. I stood up and perked up instantly with the pleasurable thought of whiskey at work. I yelled back to confirm - "Whiskey? I'll have some whiskey! I'm down!" to which he informed me of my error in hearing. After work all I thought about was whiskey and began to feel quite sad... I was really excited and happy about whiskey at work for that split second moment.

A few days later me and Darryl after finishing a bottle of tequila and gin decided to find a good Irish mix drink. We decided on an Angry Irishmen and Leprechaun. Both involved a good bottle of Irish Whiskey. Half the whiskey and half baileys original was the disgustingness that was the Angry Irishmen - it definitely tasted angry. We got 'em down and had the leprechaun - most tonic water and whiskey, it tasted wonderfully divine like the perfect pancake for breakfast.

Today I woke up with a small hangover and went to work or got called in at around 12:45. Got to work at 1 and was there till 6:30 - a small day. On the drive back though I remebered the last time working about how Randy yelled "Thirsty"... this brought a large smile to my face because I realized that I had a few shots of Whiskey left from the other night. So now I'm home from work, had a shower and still stink, was animating and doing the horrid programming of all evil again... and now I finish this post and have a couple few many shots. :3

Finally I also had the best breakfast the other day. Bacon, mega omelet, and a giant strawberry, chocolate, pancake. MTC cooked it.

the word you are looking for is bliss

Divine ultimate warmth filled unquestionable euphoria bliss state.

Also American beer is weird. Canadian beer is strong how I like it. I've actually had an Angry Irishman today. Half Baileys half any Irish Whiskey. It's nice though I hate how the alcohol shrinks my brain.
I like dutch beer a lot mostly due to my dutch pride of bein 50% dutch. I agree with Xeptic. Holland is overrated. I wish people instead realized the beauty of the country, the dikes, the windmills, the meadows, and the shrinking red light district. It's a great country with lovely adorable culture just as rich in wonderful as British, English, German, and etc.

Wanted peppers but had none. Garlic I had though with a lot of dill. Got a few weeks to wait till they're ready too. I don't give any away though... I love my pickles.

Once their ready.

I shall devour all 33 five jars.

This post was dedicated to jar 34 and 35 five which were saddly lost due to self-destruction durring the pickling process.
