I have an upcoming stop motion project starting, but I need to know a good $20-free stop motion program. Don't say Monkey Jam, Frame By Frame, Or Stop Motion because I've tried those and they don't work on my computer. HELP!
I know monkeyjam is a great program to use for the stop motion.
And for editing, Gimp is a good program to use.

Atleast its better than ms paint.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that shading. xD
The new program for drawing I use is Procreate painter classic, simply because it is compatible with intuos2.
I did include a little shading, but its really faint.
If you look closely at the sides of the face, you can see some shadows and lighting. :P
Yup. My mum's helping me with my drawing too, since she likes art.
I'm not going to use paint.net anymore, It isnt very compatible with the tablet! xD
My first picture EVER made with a wacom intuos2 tablet! Yay!
The program used was Paint.net.
Please give feedback on how to improve. ('Cuz I know im crap. xD)
Seeing Unbalanced (The first one) I had no idea what 'Flash' Was, so I tried to make it in pivot. xD
It failed.
Seriously.
If you want to zoom in animating mode, you can hold ctrl and the +(Zoom in) or the -(Zoom out). Or you hold ctrl and use the mouse wheel, I dont use CS4 so im not sure.
If its in the animation itself you want the zooming to be in, you can download a vcam for cs4 free and rezise it smaller.
Hope this helps. :D
You could use a grid, I never thought of that before lol.
But you could zoom in really far, and look at the pixels to try and line them up perfectly. (Thats what I useally do)
