Hmm...thanks

Reminds me of old cartoons, where everything had the same "theme" but then there's one character or thing colored differently..and very noticeable

No, no, no. Photoshop cannot export as a SWF file (at least, not that I know of).

Many people use a combination of Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator to animate. That way, you get a much better end result.

Yeah...Photoshop into a gif..then import..or something..

Illustrator..?
Hmm

Hey there Newground(ers),

Once again, I'm on the forum confused. Now apparently people make animations with Photoshop, which is cool with it's blends of color and etc. I notice that some animation on Newgrounds have some of those(MindChamber's and some other authors I'm forgetting"...
They have some complex background..meaning it doesn't look like it was made in flash, cept maybe it's some kind of material(brush)...or maybe a import.

So my question is basically asking you guys,"Are you combing those two to animate?"

And is that how some people get that "anime color-like palette" (I guess you can say)?

(Now that i think about, I think I answer my question)

So, what do you think is best?

Forum: Flash

Well, there's coding first of all..

Lots of coding language for..different program...but all of them basically have the same concept..or similarities (I'm not heavy on coding)

There's Flash with its CS4 (actionscripting)
3d max...with I unno (I haven't have the time to learn more about it)
and etc etc....

There's also programs that are kinda like "pre-made" (don't know how to describe it) like RPG Maker/Game maker? (I only tried these program a long time ago...so memory is foggy)

But either way..it takes lots of time and practice...so get something..good

At 4/26/09 09:45 PM, dragonjet wrote: that's not a problem, flash stores the original audio file in the FLA.
so if you compressed it by mistake the first time,
it will be fixed next time because every time it publish,
it generates a new compressed audio file from the original, not the previous.

I meant...compressed with "mp3" or "defulat" "RAW"

And i notice that if i put "stream" into a movieclip, the movieclip lags...But I know that if i put event it wont lag, but it will cause multiples loops that overlap each other

go to the library, check the properties of the imported audio,
find the option that says - Use imported quality

will make your file size bigger but the quality is the original

What happens if i mess with compression? (you a great help)

Actually I messed with the publish setting..made the bits higher and sounds better...

But if it's stream..is the timing off?
I guess I test it out on my own....

Is there a better technique?

Hey there fellow Newgrounds member,

I'm working on a new animation (like every animator out there), but I just notice something until now.
Sound quality. I understand WAV are better than mp3 when it comes to consecutive looping, but that's not what I'm asking here.

I imported a MP3 file into both Flash 8 and Flash CS3. Why? Because when i preview the animation, the music sounds "muffle" It's as if the mp3 have been compressed or...dull down....And I was wondering if there is a way around this, so that I get a perfect clear sound like when I play it from Window Medias.

So..any idea?
