I'm backpacking around Europe in three days.

Anyone in the following cities?:

London
Cambridge
Paris
Amsterdam
Munich
Berlin
Warsaw
Krakow

I'm still trying to find a place to stay in Cambridge, so if anyone knows anything, let me know. Any tips or anything?

The Jewish people or the Israeli government? You can criticize Israel all you want, even many Jews do. Why criticize a people though?

Israel is violating human rights treaties, abusing our support, and has a power base greatly disproportionate to it's size and population.

What's your point? Are you upset with Jews or Israel?

Read a fucking book. They fought right until Hitler completely destroyed them and deposed their government in favor of Vichy France, and then they kept on fighting by means of the French Resistance. The French never stopped fighting Germany in WW2.

Touche. It does matter, to an extent, what kind of marijuana it is.

This is true, and I was planning on posting that, but I pushed the shiny golden "POST" button too quickly. Afterwords I let out a loud "DRAT" and caused much screaming in my household.

Some marijuana types do make one feel more mellow or more alert, but I don't know if this is enough to actually consider them uppers or downers. It is very feasable to assume that the type of marijuana could interact differently with certain substances though, based on its particular qualities.

It depends on the way you look at drugs. You could see them the way Earfetish sees them, as an enlightening way of exploring areas of your mind which are not usually accessable. Or you could see them the way other people see them, as something which could potentially change the way you think (for better or for worse). Taking stronger hallucinagenics usually change people, they usually say it in a positive way, such as "opening their eyes" and so on. The main thing you need to consider is whether or not you want to face such a change.

Personally, I am fine with marijuana and alcohol. I have gone through my experimentation phase, and I am rather settled on lighter substances, on occasion at that. It merely depends on your priorities.

This is incorrect. Marijuana is considered a light hallucinagen. It is not a downer. Downers include alcohol, barbituates, and heroin (among other things). A speedball is cocaine and heroin, cocaine being the upper (other uppers would be amphetamines, meth, and so on).

To top it all of you were trippin' on to hits of acid. Sounds like you found your limit.

This part is likely true.

In america, people care only about money, we spend money on things we don't need like sports cars we never drive and other shit we don't really need.

The US isn't the only country that has this flaw though. It's a general trait that I personally detest, but I don't think it's as widespread as you think. It's about even.

-We think we are perfect.

Not necessarily perfect, but better. Sad, but true of a lot of other countries with a strong nationalist sway (which a lot of countries have). Luckily we also have the extreme liberals who despise most things we do (as well they perhaps should) enough to balance us out.

for some reason America thinks we have a duty to babysit the rest of the world.
-we go to war for No Fucking Reason.

The last two are probably the main problems that most countries have with us. The stereotypes just follow.

As replied to another person about the British.

Statistically, that's 30 gypos, 10 foreigners and 12 British persons. So they lost 12 of their population. Does the government care? No. Should the world care? Yes, but they don't because they knew it was coming, and it could have been much worse.

Weird, we (Americans) thought it was a big deal at the time. It wasn't an obscenely large tragedy like 9/11 was, but it was still an attack on innocent people in an area that we generally take for granted as safe.

Everyone in the world can bond over music.

Rap alienates the fuck out of me though, so I'm not entirely sure if that is correct. I can get into Hungarian Folk, Klezmer, African Blues, Classical, Rock (even the types I dislike), jazz, but then if someone plays rap I am constantly looking for some kind of musical quality and can't find it.

Of course there is some rap that is pretty decent, but that's usually catagorized as hip hop. You know, with actual instrumental sections.

So maybe sucks to be me.

Orange juice is orange juice. You're imagining things.

That's not entirely true. You can tell truly fresh squeezed orange juice from Tropicana from concentrate orange juice.

Whether or not something from Carl's Junior could actually be good is open to debate.
