The kid was obviously not mentally fit to be around firearms. The law explicitly prohibits people who are mentally/emotionally compromised from buying, owning, or handling firearms. We already have the laws in place that can stop violence like this, sadly it's just not being enforced. You can pile up all the restrictions you want, it won't make a difference if you don't back it up.

When I see certain people, I feel like I can pride myself in not being dependent on coffee to function. Also, from what I understand regarding the McDonald coffee incident, the lady sustained 3rd degree burns due to the coffee. Third degree*. Coffee should not be served in a state where it can cause third degree burns on contact.

I go to work everyday. Usually on time, if not super early. Terrible things would happen to me if I skipped work. For example, I'd get negative counseling statements from my superiors which would eventually turn into an Article 15, followed by a swift notification of my dishonorable discharge from the Army - but not before weeks, if not months, of extra duty which is basically forced labor. Probably with half or full forfeiture of pay during that time.

Also NCO's, officers, and even peers would begin to say mean things to me and that's the worst thing ever.

Be content with where you're at. If you're single, you're single. Just go with the flow, if someone comes your way just roll with it. But always reserve some caution with who you end up with, there's usually early signs that he/she is trouble.
