Good news everyone! I have 5 days of school left until I'm out for the summer! During the three months away from school, I am planning on taking ACT prep courses, volunteer duties, and probably get a job to fund my airsoft needs! The first two are mostly parentally imposed. Anyways, I absolutely failed to make this weekend count towards finals. Worst yet, I don't feel too guilty.

Gosh darn it! I'm already procrastinating to dangerously new heights! Summer came too early for me :(

I think we need to change the policy... = / I don't think having garbage whistlers in the PD is a good idea. The Barracks has a policy against it, and we're supposed to be allied to them in this sense.

The criteria for membership here is already quite demanding, just the post quality check alone has denied dozens of applicants. Adding another brick to the wall seems unnecessary in my opinion. Also, garbage whistles may have not been their fault. We've heard it from other members; from my understanding, they flagged abusive reviews/submissions and still lost whistle points because they probably never got deleted by the review mods. Should we really penalize them for possibly doing the right thing? I'm not willing to take that chance if that's the case.

Sure, posting it in Rage's thread is a good idea and all, I think we should keep it that way, but I think we also need to post them in here for those of us who don't read it regularly. See my point?

I'd rather keep our business strictly b/p related. Honestly I think that reviews made by idiots and trolls are simply not worth our time and effort when we already have a hugely successful thread to take care of all that. If they're not aware of Rage's thread, then sooner or later they'll hear about it and should look for it. It really shouldn't be that hard if you just type "Rage's" in the search box (GUESS WHAT? IT'S THE FIRST RESULT!)

It may seem justified and it was undoubtedly done with good intentions and I respect that, but it is exactly this kind of stuff that almost destroyed the NGPD on a couple occasions. Imagine that the spammer retaliated and posted more spam, wouldn't that anger our guys and make them speak out against him? Obviously. This, in turn, could've potentially snowballed into a really nasty situation. I don't want to sound like a superior ass hole to you guys, but I've seen these things happen before most of you even made your accounts and I believe it is in our best interest to maintain a zero-tolerance policy.

Not to mention it is written in the OP that the minimum penalty for responding to a spammer is a suspension depending on how things turn out. As for warning others, the spam post itself is the warning -- warning others not to respond to it and if the problem persists, the mods will handle it and we not be at fault in any way. The members are posting at their own risk if they decide to take matters into their own hands regarding spammers. I expect all regulars in this thread to know how to handle a spammer or other adverse situations. If you don't know, ask me via PM. I'd much rather you ask beforehand than fuck up when something bad happens.

I am well aware that I'm acting like a total dick, more so than tangent (forgive me, but I couldn't help it lol), but I hope you understand that I'm merely doing my best to insure that the NGPD doesn't go down in a flame war or any other reason for that matter.

Just remember this: "all members are expected to keep their cool at all times."

Well, he doesn't sell cars, he's not even out of high school. He's a friend of mine who bought a car some months ago. From our conversations together, I have a feeling that he's one of those people who lives, breathes, and bleeds cars (ouch). He was never a member. He failed the PI the first time he asked, if I recall correctly, and he kept posting here anyways, which isn't a bad thing necessarily. He won't be receiving an honorable discharge though.
