I think writing it can be pretty challenging especially when all your research doesn't fall into place. Personally, I don't like writing ANYTHING unless it's a bbs post or something that allows me to liberate my mind.

Well you've easily passed our PI. Now you move on to the apprenticeship stage of the recruitment process. Hopefully you've at least bothered to read the first page of this thread to get some info on what we're about. If not, then.... tsk tsk you ought to do that right now.

I'll explain the apprenticeship deal, since I'm in a relatively chill mood right now. The apprenticeship is a 7-day trial to see how you would perform as a member of the NGPD. Of course, you will not be considered a full member until you successfully pass the apprenticeship. This is to help insure that people don't go missing right after being inducted - which annoys me. The most important criteria to keep in mind is how active you are here and how well you get along with other members.

As I've mentioned before, please refer to the first post to get some general info on the NGPD if you haven't done so already. The NGPD FAQ link, located in my sig, has everything you need to know about us. If you still have any questions or concerns AFTER checking out both sites, feel free to send me a PM and I'll be happy to help.

I'm growing concerned about Rage's thread as well. I see tons of people posting links to reviews or content that really isn't that abusive of fail to specify which is actually abusive. I just saw someone who flagged a movie that was reported as stolen . Later someone pointed out that the submission's email matched the original site that it was reported with.

People need to start looking carefully at these reports nowadays. There isn't as great of an abundance of abusive crap to delete as there was a year ago so you really have to take a closer look and, as CTM said, go by what you think. Don't be a sheep and follow whoever's posting links, that's just being a mindless flagger.

I don't think it's reasonable to assume that just because someone has an imbalanced b/p ratio means that they have a problem with their voting habits. Consider this, maybe he actually did encounter a substantially greater quantity of protect-worthy flashes while still voting as fairly as any of us here. He's not a particularly powerful user in terms of voting power so I wouldn't be so quick to pass judgment on someone based on such issues as b/p ratio.

I actually have to side with idol on this one. Blam/Protect ratio speaks inconclusively at best. If the EGB has issues with this on their turf, let them - it's their game, they call the shots. However, I personally believe that this does not qualify as "proof" of poor voting and therefore it will not be held against anyone here in the NGPD from here on out.

Actually I don't think that's going to happen. From what I understand, the levels were raised in the first place in order to fix the problem of Pimp raising the bar for each level. If he reaches level 60, I hypothesize that either of the two will happen:
1. He'll continue to gain more points while unaffecting everyone else.
2. He'll be unable to gain any more points because that's the "max."
***3. The giant palm will come down and crush him for being the ultimate exp. statwhore.

But that's just my take on the situation.

Soulmaster71 isn't the man in charge.

Even if he was, you would still have to go through a probationary period in which we judge your posting and b/ping habits.

Gurrilla's right, it isn't up to him to ultimately decide who joins. Soul is also well aware of this. I do allow members to recommend an applicant for apprenticeship, but this doesn't mean I HAVE to let that person in.

All NG'ers are required to undergo the apprenticeship in order to become full members here (with VERY rare exceptions). However, I see that you seriously lack in post quality. The only way for you to become an apprentice is to make more intelligent posts.
