oh, sorry, i thought it was cause you would get sick and possibly die, because your body couldn't handle it
Name another animal that has invented fire.
what does that have to do with anything in this thread?
That's why humans cook meat because they're the only animal that knows how.
but what does that have to do with the fact that in nature all animals that eat meat do so without cooking eat and can digest it and use it as nutrition where as humans cannot,
i mean hey, i can fuck dirty hookers and it probably won't hurt me if i wear a condom
does that mean its a great idea
of course!

Here is my rationality:

*MANY* different living organisms have to die for you to have a *single meal*. So what is the purpose? It is that vegetarians end up killing more organisms than the carnivore/omnivores. If you love *life*, then eat an animal.
if you want to talk about enviromental impact go here
i have been looking on blog pages and forums and what not, and i can't find a good way to run a hitTest
does anyone in the NG world know any good methods for doing an AS3 hitTest() ????
well, for anyone who wants to know i did this and it worked
function clickbox(event:MouseEvent) {
trace("you clicked me");
var loadit = new Loader();
addChild(loadit);
loadit.load(new URLRequest("game_zoomin.swf"));
}
i just started using AS3, and im kinda lost, i can't even check a simple mouse click command to work, can anyone in the know of AS3 tell me how to make a mouse click function javascript:MakeSmileySelection(14);
yeah, flash dosn't stick to the standard of most mark up languages but if you ever have questions google can awnser them, i have never had a problem in flash that a little reasearch couldn't handle...
try harder
Good for you. For $2500 you can get a Mac Pro with:
* Two 2.66GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon processors (four cores, not one)
* 1GB memory
* NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT graphics with 256MB memory
* 250GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s 7200-rpm hard drive
* 16x double-layer SuperDrive
4 cores to your one? Blown out of the water? Don't think so.. (yes you're paying a premium here)
first off thats more than twice what i paid, has less ram, less disk, space and my processor is an AMD 64x2 norht and south baby, my graphics card is better, and i think i made my point, you would rather pay 2,500 for a Mac that is not as good as a PC for 1000
