I ended up voting straight libertarian, and of course none of them won (as far as I know). I will never see myself voting Republican anytime soon, and I may vote Democrat, but I'm living in a red state, so it's almost a lost cause. So I might as well vote for the party I tend to agree with the most.

There could be other things that Florida has issues with other than apparent racism. I can see why Florida is unappealing though, but I really like Destin, FL. Their beaches are nice...
I've been an Austinite for 18 (some on and off) years, and I support this message:
Anyone planning on buying The Crew for the PS4? We should form a Newgrounds Gang!

No one liked my suggestion? :(
You know, tax benefits aside, I think having the government being involved in marriage is a good thing (considering everything Camaro has pointed out). However, I still don't understand why people who are married should get a tax break, because it seems like they're adding a cherry on top of an already sweet deal. Instead of the government discontinuing the benefits of marriage plus a tax break, wouldn't it be better to just give everyone the tax break, or rewrite the system where the tax bracket is equal in that aspect? That way, those who are married still get the protection they need in case of a divorce, child custody, death etc., while everyone else doesn't "suffer" (I use that term loosely) by paying more in taxes.
I own a couple of handguns:
.40 GLOCK 27 and a .45 Colt 1911 Government Model
I would also carry some sort of blunt object like a baseball bat or a pipe.
All I can say is that I'm sorry that you have to go through with is. It's hard to imagine what it would be like to slowly lose your sight.
Although technically this is a Governors Race and not necessarily a midterm election, I will say that Greg Abbott will become the new Texas Governor. Not much will change there I don't think, though I feel he's better than Perry.

What do you mean? Because I used to have a cartoon fox as my profile pic?
Also, you didn't answer my question. How tough are ya?

I had a bowl of nails for breakfast this morning! Without any milk...

In the end if a set of parents were unmarried, they're being bad aprents by putting their own needs above those of their child. Marriage is available for them yet they 100% choose not to take part.Oh yes. All those people who weren't able to get married for whatever reasons, of which there are many valid reasons -- for example one of the partners died, are automatically "bad parents". Great logic there!
I want to add something to this. My parents are divorced, which in theory would end any tax benefits my mom and dad would of had. Sure, my father had to pay child support, but there have been a number of times where the father would not contribute to his children after the divorce. You could argue that I have 'bad parents' for ending their marriage, but they had a good reason to (which quite frankly is too personal to share), and the children (me at the time) shouldn't be indirectly penalized for what they chose to do. What if the husband was very abusive to his wife and to his children? Should the government not give tax benefits to the mother and the kids after she manages to divorce her abusive husband?
Maybe there are tax benefits to single parents, but it hasn't been addressed yet.
I would want to see movies that have great cinematography like Inception, Avatar, Lord of the Rings, etc.

What? Are you a Republican?
Wait, he's Republican?
Then if you are, I don't care about you.
I don't think he cares about you either.
You are basically responsible for everything wrong with this country.
How is it all his fault? What are you basing it on? All he told you was to "shut up". Yes, it was rude, but how can you conclude that he's suddenly a Republican? I didn't know saying "shut up" causes recessions and wars.
I can't stand looking upon the politics that you believe in and say it to everybody around the nation. It cringes and saddens me on why do you even do this in the first place?
I think Republicans, at times, have good points if they aren't bashing social issues like Gay Marriage. Also, both Republicans and Democrats tend to disagree with some members of their own party on a few things. No party is perfect.
I treat cats more like roommates than companions. Cats have the benefit to make really good pets for those who are not active or work too much away from home, and I think this "disease" they carry is ridiculous. All in all, I think this is just a biased article over a breed of animal which quite frankly is different from dogs. I love dogs just as much as cats by the way.
Here are some benefits of owning a cat: https://www.purina.co.nz/cats/getting-a-cat/benefits-of-having-a-cat/
and another: https://www.lovethatpet.com/cats/getting-started/benefits-of-owning-a-cat/
AND ANOTHER: http://mentalfloss.com/article/51154/8-benefits-being-cat-owner
See, I can be just as bias as the OP.

also, we've always got Pink Floyd's new album to look forward to in November.
I'm looking forward to it too, though I have a feeling that it won't be anywhere near as good as The Wall or Dark Side of the Moon. But it is great to know that after 20 years that there will be another studio album!

When Roger "was" Pink Floyd he ended up producing This awful piece of shit. David Gilmour is just as much a part of the band as he was. But, yeah they really needed him in this one.
Personally I find The Final Cut to be very underrated, but that may be because I'm biased. Roger Waters is probably my favorite musician; period.

And I guess for everyone who wants to hear Roger's music, he's releasing a solo album. There'll probably be a song about how much he regrets being a dick in Pink Floyd or something. After looking it up for a while, the last news about his solo album was in 2013 so either the album's never coming out or it's coming out soon. I dunno.
Have you heard his earlier solo works? If not, I would recommend Radio KAOS.
I would probably go homeless, and become a drifter. Wandering around town to town and get odd jobs here and there if I'm lucky. At least I'll get to travel! :D

Some of my co-workers were talking about forfeiture at work. They also brought up Florida and Las Vegas being the most notorious for committing these unconstitutional acts. So, maybe it holds some light somewhere? Have you check any of the states Penal Codes?
Break From This World - Globus
The Wall - Pink Floyd
The Downward Spiral - Nine Inch Nails
Honorable Mention goes to Lunatic - Kongos.
Break From This World didn't came out in 2014, but it came out in the 2010s.
Thanks to this album, Globus is my favorite band.
Rydia, I wish you the best of luck on what you have been dealing with. I can't even imagine how much of a struggle it is...
I was just interviewed with the Williamson County Juvenile Department for the Juvenile Supervision Officer position. There's only one opening, and I felt like, even though I didn't wow them on my answers, they were decent. What I think I did well on was body language, the suit I wore, and my mannerisms. I plan on taking a tour of their facility in a couple of days.
Anyway, I haven't been replying on the politics forum much because of my job hunting (as you can see). xD
Ok. I'm willing to give a wild guess on what cartoon that is.
Is it Johnny Test?
