well, in my opinion, lilum had a kind of storyline we aren't really supposed to take in, but it is more like a message. im not goth or emo, but that flash kinda speaks to me. the shadow represents a darker presence that lurks in our minds, and eventually will try to get u to do something that isnt like u or something truly dispicable (like what lilium did). and when u are convinced to do it, u will start to think there will be somekind of satisfaction or reward afterward. but after the deed is done, u will find there is no reward, and will wish the deed undone. but, as u remember, the shadow couldnt give her her brother back. this is the point u realize it is too late to change anything, and will want none of this to have happened. here is the point u will want revenge and want to destroy the darkness. but, if u all remember, the shadow told her to travel the road in which he pointed. the road represents destruction, and lilium, eventually destroying the shadow, will eventually destroy herself, as we would destroy ourselves.
