All I know is that Harry was royally annoyed at Tim for buggering off when he did. The ranting was hilarious! Someone has a phone recording of said rant; I'd LOVE to see that again on YouTube or somewhere. ;)

I'm hoping to type up my impressions over the NG meet soon. Probably over the next couple of days, depending on how caught up I get with everything else.

Yeah, it was annoying when I was still learning, but ultimately the extra experience was useful in my opinion. I can't imagine Coop would be that annoying in the passenger seat! :p

I have a video of Harry and The Sports Bar business. :p

As liljim said, both your parents are cool for letting you do something like this. I don't think I could/would be able to meet up with "people from the internet" with mine.

Well dont buy anything yet, i was just messing around. I dont think its necesary for you to be hauling was potentially big ice blocks down.. we can just buy a bunch within london im sure.. just bring something manageable for you to haul.

I agree, it's not worth taking too much down, it would suck if it ended up raining, and had to keep hold of all that stuff until we got back to the house or something, there's less to look after on the journey down too. Besides, I think it would be funny if a huge group of people walked into an Iceland store, grabbing everything in sight.

Yeah, we'll probably do that if the day is dreary, but I was thinking of the possibility of the weather turning to crap while we're out, and too far from Namco to get back easily.

How about, as it's summer, something outdoors? Like just bringing along a load of footballs, frisbees, boomerangs etc. etc. and going somewhere like Hyde Park or over to Greenwich?

Sounds like good fun! People will either be involved in the activities or sitting around and watching, so everyone is approachable to mingle with.

That said, this is England, so a back-up plan will be needed if the rain decides to show itself...

Even after THAT she asked once again "You sure it's not some cult thing?", so now I feel that I'll disappoint her otherwise, so I'm off to kill myself in the name of Newgrounds. You guys have just warped my mind too many times.

The trick is to tell her it IS a cult, then talk about all the horrible things we do, because anyone in a real cult won't admit/doesn't believe they are, then she'll feel silly for asking. :D

Ah well, she'd probably have noticed me later.

Now do you realise why I was nudging you? I was distracting her by taking a while to get my I.D. out. You would have had enough time to walk off to the table upstairs, and sit with everyone else, I made sure that you could do it by moving so that her back was facing you, so I did that after nudging you and you took a few steps and sort of stood there, haha. Oh well, next time eh?

I had a great time yesterday, thanks to everyone that was there! I'll try and make it the meet that Coop is planning, and of course, the next meet with Luis.

Anyway, I'm up for meeting at Waterloo with you guys, how does 12:15-12:30 sound? It gives us enough time for a bit for conversation, and to get to the London Eye for around 13:00. Or do people want to meet up early to have more time to get used a small group before meeting everyone else?
We'll meet at the bus stops outside of the station, you'll know you're in the right place if you see 3 shelters, and the IMAX cinema is in clear view (large cylindrical building in the middle of a large roundabout.).

If you're interested, PM me your phone number, and I'll check and add any I get before I leave later on as well as send my number back in case you need to contact me, I'll text/phone you if you're missing and we're about to leave. I'm Black and tall, and will probably be wearing black jeans and a backpack, you can't miss me.

I'll probably turn up tomorrow, as I haven't really got anything else planned, but if you mean early as in early in the day, then no, would be leaving relatively early too, got stuff to do the following afternoon.
Will have to sort out that Street Fighter II thing if people are still interested.

So, what's actually gonna be going on the days before the official meetup day? (17th) Or are we just gonna be going with the flow? I'll probably be coming up on Thursday and leaving on Sunday (got an exam the following Monday). I'll probably be too cheap to get accomodation, so I'll most likely be taking buses to get to where you guys are like last time. By the way for those of you that have booked a room in the area, how much is it costing you, and are there any beds spare in the rooms you have?

I could bring down a Nintendo Wii, if anyone is up for the party games (Wii Sports & Play, Rayman Raving Rabbids and of course, Super Smash Bros. Brawl), only two controllers though, so if someone could take a couple with 'em, that would be good too.
If there's a PS3 coming down then the only multiplayer games I have are Resistance: Fall of Man, and Ridge Racer 7, but an extra SIXAXIS is always good (no Dual Shock 3, sorry). No 360 games, but again, another controller, heh.
