Are textures like this what you're after?
I listened to your work and enjoyed it. You're pretty talented. :)
Asking out of curiosity, how much would a 20 second looped song for an animation cost someone?
You'd have to ask TheMewx about the rating, but I think this Collab is open to most things. :P
An update, the deadline has been extended to November 5th.
If you finish a video and want to submit it to the Collab, upload a .swf version to The Dumping Grounds here on the site and then send a PM with a link to your video to TheMewx.

Thanks everyone! :P
A good tip would be to spend some time learning how to use your animation software before trying to make animations.
If you start an animation before you know how to use key frames and the various tools included, you might get frustrated.
Watch some tutorials and then spend an hour or so making straight forward/ultra basic movements, like a ball bouncing across the screen or something else that is simple.
After you have a decent grasp of the fundamentals. I would then suggest this trick.
Before starting a big animation, try drawing an incredibly rough version of it before you do any detailed work.
This works well for figuring out what poses and stances you want your characters to have, that way you can decide what looks better before drawing something complicated; and then realizing that a different position would have worked out better.
Once you have a basic understanding of your program, all that is left is to hone your skills and improve your art and animation skills. :)
TheMewx, myself and others are working on a Pokémon Collab, if you want to join you're more than welcome. :)
You can also post your video individually after the Collab is finished on your own channel if you wanted.
A link to the collab post with details if you are interested.
I'm aware of the collab, 'cept I don't have a recent enough version of Flash to contribute.
Unless the collab succeeds in being able to accept Macromedia Flash MX files, I can't help out. Want to though. :P
By the end of August, but might get extended to November if TheMewx makes the decision.
3rd Generation at all. So anything to do with characters or the Pokémon from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald or Alpha/Omega. :P
Hello NewGrounds!
TheMewx and I have been working on a Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby Collab that is in the same vein as the Brawl Taunts and Nin10Doh! that Kirbopher and company had made.
We planned on giving the new games a warm welcome by creating a compilation of parodies of the third generation of Pokémon and the Hoenn region in general.
Be it the Pokémon themselves, the Gym battles, anything involving the new features like the Mega Stones or just plain absurdity. You name it. :P
We have been at it for a few weeks now, and have a couple of the higher quality skits ready. However, having a few extra hands to help add to the project would make it even better.
The goal for finishing this project was the end of August, however TheMewx said he might extend the deadline to November (the release date of the new games) if he decided otherwise.
If you want to contribute to this Collab, feel free! All art styles and skill levels are welcome.
As well if you're not an animator, mention that you are a voice actor or otherwise. There is always a way you can help out. :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The requirements for the video are as follows...
-Must be in 1920 Width X 1080 Height format.
-24 Frames per second.
-Skit must have Characters or Pokémon from the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald games in it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are kind enough to contribute and finish a video, post a .swf file of your video into the Dumping Grounds, and then send a PM to TheMewx with a link to it. From there TheMewx can download it and put it into the finished product and give you full credit for the hard work.
Make sure to credit your voice actors and songs as well! This is a team effort. :)
We are both happy for any help that you can give to make this project amazing. This is the first collab I've ever joined and I want to make sure I make it as great as possible. Thanks in advance!

Are there people who try to clip on purpose? :P
I'll keep the suggestions in mind for next time.
The voice files aren't my voice though. I'll kindly ask the voice actor if he could try the Wingull voices again with different audio sensitivity settings. I enjoy the voice work, I just want the audio to not clip at high volumes. (Especially for people wearing headphones) :P
Thanks again for the suggestions. :)
I must have been listening to the Wingull voices at too low of a volume, now I can't help but notice the clipping.
I think I can get away with the first yell, but hopefully some export settings and volume adjustments should fix this issue.
Thanks for the help. :P
Hello!
I've put the audio together for an animation, and I am just wondering if the timing or volume for sound effects and music needs any work.
The audio sounds pretty good to me, I just wouldn't mind hearing second opinion to see if I can make it better.
Thanks in advance! :)
He shrugged it off and headed for his room, when suddenly...
I use Macromedia Flash MX, If I had a more recent version I would be more than happy to contribute.
Best of luck guys! :P
Also I'd do about 10-20 quests. :P
I could do some! Just a couple of questions first...
-What kind of quests are you after? Could some of the quests be especially goofy or weird or are they mostly like the example quest?
-How is payment sent? Paypal or other?
Thanks in advance and good luck with the project! :P
Sorry, I don't have a Skype account. @_@
I'd be fine with pretty much any voice you think suits the Bug Catcher. I'm not picky. :P
Hello NewGrounds!
I'm working on a collab with TheMewX here on the site, but I need some voices before I can do any lipsync.
I need someone who can voice the Bug Catcher from the Pokémon games.
I am not picky with voices at all, so if you have a decent microphone then you've got the part. :P

Any help at all would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)
What kinda game are we talking here?
If it's a game with one or two backgrounds I could draw those.
As for coding or programming that's not my field of expertise.
Send me a few details and I might be able to help slightly. :P
Upon reading this I realize I probably could've added a few clouds in the distance.
Thanks for the compliment and suggestions. :)
Don't worry, I know that I shouldn't neglect practice. :P
I was more or less asking if anyone could spot lighting errors, mistakes, or areas where I could add more details. Things that I might've overlooked.
Hello, I have an image that I made a while ago and I am happy with, however I think that I can do a better job, so I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions of how I could improve it.
The image can be found here...
...and I'd appreciate any suggestions of how I could make one of my drawings better.
Thanks in advance! :P

Have them say the full line. It'll help you SO much in animation and editing.
Anyways, good luck on your project!
I'll keep that in mind, but the audio I've gotten so far has been easy to manipulate and edit.
Thanks for the advice!
Here's the collab I'm participating in right now, if you're interested you can join. :)
I learned about NewGrounds from various Newgrounder's that had also started making YouTube channels back when YouTube-NewGrounds video theft was more frequent.
I watched the Awesome Series, Brawl Taunts and various others NewGrounds classics when I was told I could watch them on the site in crystal clear quality.
So I've been coming to this site to look at videos and games since...2008 I believe. As a result I've found some really cool submissions and users who's work I still follow to this day.
The thing that made me make an account was my own laziness. I've started a large array of different projects with Flash and I've been juggling all of them. So everything is getting worked on a little bit, but none of them are getting my full focus.
I figured that if I joined some contests and collabs, the requirement to finish a project before a deadline would be the driving force to make me finish something from start to finish, and get the creative juices flowing to the point I can start working on my gigantic pile of animations.
NewGrounds is hopefully the medium that will get my lazy butt back into animation mode again, and the collab I'm participating in should see to that. :P
Gotcha! Now all I have left to ask is if there is any kind of deadline for the collab.
(before the games come out of just when you think you have enough skits?)
You know what, It's about time I participated in a collab. Count me in!
I'll keep the size and frame rate requirements in mind, but is there any specific comedy in mind?
(Ruby and Sapphire in general, or specific to Alpha and Omega)
