Hate is evil.

Humans harbor hate because humans are evil.

It's because when it comes to privacy, Google is nothing less than a raging bag of dicks. Selling our personal info to advertisers and forcing us to slowly rid ourselves of anonymity, which is their not-so subtle way of getting MORE info to sell to advertisers.

your first name is ashley?

Yes, it is, it was my birth name.

I made my friends call me Ash for a while, then I got it legally changed to something else, and then I decided to change it back once I became transgender (Which was quite recently).

No, usually the users here actually respond in a mostly expected and not at all unpleasant way (Most of you) when I make a topic, so I tend to not worry about it.

Actually, pretty much. Tradition encompasses thoughts from time when what's different meant what's dangerous, what's not ours should be, and we all have our own teams.

Because tradition is based on emotion and not on logic.

For once I have to agree with you.

That movie looks like the bastardized child of a horrible 80's B movie and a movie made by the people who made the Scary Movie series.

What do you expect from a concept based on a movie starring Gary Busey? Nothing but the stupidest shit you've ever had the displeasure of viewing is what comes to my mind.

Isn't traditional belief... Posted October 25th, 2013 in General

...the cause of every problem we face socially? When I say traditional belief, I mean things like racism, religious persecution, and and gender-roles. If people didn't cling to these traditions, maybe we'd be more prone to accept one another, and being more accepting is definitely logically the better choice, so this leads us to question why people won't accept the obvious. This makes me wonder why humans are so resistant to attempts to abandon these obsolete and harmful concepts.

I'm up for a serious discussion on why people still stick to these beliefs, even when they do nothing but harm society.

I'm curious to hear your point of view on this, NG.

Response to: Post Interesting Facts Posted October 25th, 2013 in General

In the United States, an average of 2 people die a year from spider bites (This doesn't include people who died because they were allergic, which brings the figure to about 6).

For comparison, about 1,000 people in the US die a year from falling out of bed.

Why would a cop do something so stupid (Besides the fact that it seems it doesn't take much to become a cop this day and age, seemingly), especially with all of the school violence happening lately?

If I were him I would have been extra cautious, considering a lot of people are still worked up over some very recent school-related crimes.

in exchange for GTA IV. There's no catch, the reason I'm doing this is I have an extra product code for Dead Space 3, but I already own the game so I really have no use for it, except to trade it for something of equal value like GTA IV.

exchange for a copy of GTA IV on steam. You see, I have this additional product key for Dead Space 3, but I already own it so it's kind of pointless for me to leave it lying around, so I might as well trade it for something of about equal value like GTA IV.

Comment if you're interested.
