It was a goo decision at the time, now it just seems like you had the munchies and it got a bit out of control doesn't it?

Oh man, no way, I'm still happy we did it. Poor decisions usually make for the best stories, y'know?

We snuck the burgers past my friend's severely jewish mother (apparently meat and cheese together isn't kosher) and up to his room. Eventually that friend had to use the bathroom, so while he was doing that we hid about a dozen mcdoubles in random places. He'll be finding them for weeks.

The whole thing was like a half-serious prank. I mean, we DID order them at 3:30 AM. The reaction from the lady at the window was priceless, too.

"Yeah, we'll have uh... 34 mcdoubles. And a small coke."
"You... are... are you serious?"

We were so stoned it was the most hilarious thing ever. It was more than worth the $38 we all pitched in.

I just got back from a trip to the city where I was visiting some friends. Last night we got crazy stoned and drove around for a bit, and at about 3:30 AM hit up a McDonalds drive-thru for some grub. As he was making the turn, the friend driving addressed the rest of us in the car. "34 McDoubles?"

To which I answered, of course, "34 McDoubles."

So, me and my three friends ordered 34 McDoubles and a small coke. It was an excellent decision.

I recommend you check CNN or MSNBC, or whatever major media site you're comfortable with hearing the news from, but they're now finally covering these bills, which they've been avoiding until this point. In fact, this is such a big deal that they're compelled to cover it despite the fact that their parent companies' interests all lie with the bills passing. It's not pointless. It's finally gotten the attention of the mainstream media, and it's heavily affecting the bills' support in government.

That's actually kind of hilarious as far as nightmares go.

Response to: The Stoner's Club Posted January 14th, 2012 in Clubs & Crews

I remember one recurring nightmare I had that was pretty disturbing. It wasn't, like, jump-out-at-you scary or anything like that, but it was acutely unsettling. I had apparently unwittingly become a carrier for some horrible doomsday disease, but I was immune to it myself, so I didn't realize why my entire family started bleeding from every orifice and died until later in the dream when I had finally figured out what was going on. By then, I was the only surviving creature I knew about, and since I live in the middle of the woods already, it compounded with the general sense of isolation I feel every day and, coupled with the complex of grief and guilt I had become burdened with for accidentally killing my family in the most terrible way imaginable, began to drive me insane. I usually woke up from the nightmare in tears when I was at my breaking point.

It's strange the things your mind can do to itself, especially when dreams are concerned. I had this dream often enough over the course of a few months that I can recall many of the details to this day, but every single time I had it, it felt like a new and wretched experience while I was in the thick of it. Maybe that particular feeling was just a part of the way my psyche shifted to accommodate the nightmare.

In any case, I would usually spend the following day grateful for simply being alive and healthy with a loving family to match.

That shit's still legal where you're from? I've seen some pretty horrible side effects from it.

Yeah, it's admittedly not a fantastic example of a research chemical, it was just the only picture of one with a disclaimer I could find on Google images.
As far as legality, as of September 2011 it was made
temporarily illegal in the US.

i think we may be safe from the trolls, which is why i think this club is a good forum. but it is a controversial subject so no matter what your opinion may be, if we were discussing it we should all remember to be reasonable. that doesn't mean we should all be typical stoners and never argue. maybe we are considerate enough to have an engaging conversation without being offensive.

i think we can?

I believe it's possible! Personally I usually try to stay out of political conversations in general, because I never feel as though I'm quite well-informed enough to justify my political views. However, since this discussion wouldn't be happening in real-time, I'd have plenty of opportunities to cheat and look things up in between posts! Would you like to kick things off by giving us a short dissertation on how efficient you believe our government is at combating terrorism, areas you believe they should improve upon, and whether or not (and why) you agree or disagree with the methods they generally employ?

Extract = trippin' balls.
Plain Leaf = sedative.

Not trying to be a dick, nor do I care that much about being right(despite what it looks like), I just knew I wasn't crazy, lol. I knew what I smoked WAS Salvia, and it DID make me feel like I was high on THC. So now you know, and knowing is half the battle. ;) (sorry for the barrage of posts, btw)

I hope I didn't come across as argumentative! I didn't mean to argue your point at all, I was just providing an example of what occurred for me when I last smoked salvia. It was certainly extract; I should have made a point of including that in my post. I've also had the plain leaves, and can attest to your description of their effects.

That said, salvia is fun.

Oh, okay <3

Regarding salvia, it's an entirely different beast from marijuana. The last time I smoked it I tripped pretty violently for a few minutes. The entire world began to crest and crash in waves, and I felt as though I had been sucked into an undertow. All of a sudden I was a molecule of water in the ocean, and the room I was in melted away to reflect a vast blue openness. I had literally slipped into an alternate reality for two or three minutes, and my body physically responded to forces that my brain was perceiving, but weren't actually acting on me. Everything was happy though, and while those forces which tugged, pushed, and pulled at me were frighteningly strong, they filled me with joy, and I conducted excitement as though it were an electrical charge. While I was powerless against this onslaught of physical and mental energy, I was nonetheless euphorically reveling in the places my mind was taking me.

To an outside observer, this amounted to me rolling around on my friend's bed laughing hysterically for a few minutes. Then the phone rang and interrupted the trip and I was unable to return to it.

This is Mephedrone, AKA MCAT. It's a synthetic analog of the cathinone compounds found in the khat plant of eastern Africa and procures effects similar to MDMA. It's labeled and marketed as plant fertilizer because its chemical structure contains nitrogen. However, to purchase it for use as a plant fertilizer would be foolish, because it costs around $15 a gram. In fact actually using it as such is pretty much unheard of. This substance was originally synthesized for human consumption.

The "not for human consumption" label, in this context, means nothing. It's simply exploitation of a loophole to allow manufacturers of things like salvia to continue to supply it. They're legally obligated to provide that disclaimer, since it's against the law to consume the product, but the disclaimer likely wouldn't be there at all if consumption was legal. You see tags like that on research chemicals like O-Acetylpsilocin, but things like that honestly have no purpose other than to be consumed and enjoyed.

I generally get more into games when high and the same goes for music. And everybody else?

Sometimes I dive right into dubstep and rock out, other times I chill with Boards of Canada, and occasionally I'll sit back and try to work on something myself. What are games? (lol I have a Mac...)

Actually I enjoy playing flash games from time to time while stoned. More recently I've been playing Skyrim on a big ol' projector. Morrowind was a great game, I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I might see what I can do to get it running for me again.

WallofYawn, that's fucked up and a half. Luckily for me I've been close with this friend of mine for a little over ten years, so I really have nothing to worry about around him. Seriously though, I hope those guys eventually get some kind of retribution. The fact that people can even be that way is disturbing.

EmmDubya, sounds like an awesome day! I've been startled by animals before too, though it's usually been skunks, so being startled feels like a reasonable reaction...

ToastedCupcake, to each his own I suppose! I usually don't have a problem with people wet-lipping things, but I tend to have better experiences with blunts, and I guess they just maintain more of a "party" connotation for me for some reason. Maybe it's the tobacco, I don't smoke it often so I don't really have a tolerance for it.

Gonna go chill with a friend who recently started smoking. He's in training to be a cop and I never pictured him as the type to get stoned, since he's all about MMA and wears Tapout shirts all the time. He's got half an ounce. Should be fun.

Response to: The Stoner's Club Posted December 16th, 2011 in Clubs & Crews

I'm a fan of blunts, but I tend to be a bit of a social stoner, so when I have one it's getting passed around. I prefer to share a blunt and all associated experiences with friends, rather than toke alone.

There are other advantages to blunts too. Joints aren't really big enough for 2-4 people, bringing a bowl on an adventure may result in the loss of said bowl, and there's no way I'm hiking around campus with a 36" bong.
