Cause that's how our justice system works. We don't like the outcome so fucking kill that bitch.
You all are mad, but here's the fun fact of the case.
You listened to the media who wove an integral story that backed up the prosecutors claim that Casey was guilty based on whatever the prosecutors told them. Here's the problem. We don't judge someone by the media. We are supposed to be impartial and objective and here you all are spouting off like a bunch of vengeful retards who have little understanding of how the fucking justice system works.
1. All of the evidence was circumstantial. In recent judicial history it is now flat out nearly impossible to get a murder conviction without DNA evidence or witness testimony. Hell, they didn't even say she had a motive.
2. The prosecution could have convicted her with negligent homicide. I am 100% sure they could have. For whatever reason they decided to go big and failed big. I'm not sure what angle they were trying to pull, but it was a terrible one. What on EARTH was the prosecution thinking? It almost feels as if they felt they had a slam dunk, but didn't even think that maybe they should back up their evidence?
3. Their forensic evidence backfired on them. There just wasn't enough for it to be conclusive. You can speculate all you want but the forensic scientist flat out told the jurors that the evidence does not point one way or another.
4. Get the whole chloroform, tape and whatever other circumstantial crap out of your head that you keep spouting as fact. The only damning piece of evidence was that she didn't report her daughter missing for 30 days. Was that enough to convict her of capital murder? Apparently the jury didn't think so not to mention, again, no clear evidence.
5. The jury had the luxury to go into this case without any outside forces interfering with what they heard from the prosecution and defense. So all of you are looking at this from and entirely different level than they did. I am not shocked they made this decision and the fact that you all are dumbfounded just proves that you are dumb and easily manipulated by your emotions on this.
The law is cold, but it needs to be just.
Sad to say though...at the end of the day a little girl is dead and we might never know what happened. I can assure you, though, that whatever the prosecutors cooked up wasn't what happened thanks to, survey says, burden of proof.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why your irrational outrage is retarded.
I have a theory on how everyone reacts.
Look at their age.
The OP is 18 years old. You were 8 years old when 9/11 happened. To you, as a child growing up, you had little knowledge of bin Laden nor really cared that much. How many children would? Don't say you did because to children the world of reality doesn't really hit them that much.
X-TERRORIST-X you are 19, Furry Demon 14 (and Australian), Chris V-2 18. See what I'm getting at?
Instead you grew up with some of the stupid shit the United States did in response to 9/11. Yeah, we still act irrationally when regarding Islam or the Middle East. We are human and make mistakes and the US made quite a few bad decisions.
I was 14 when it happened and have a vivid memory of everything. I wasn't mature, sure, but I wanted to understand everything just like most people did. Flash forward 6 years when the OP is my age now. It's 2007 and allllll the shit proceeding 9/11 is happening in the Bush years. He's probably slightly getting more interested in events around the world or maybe not. Who knows, but he probably has general knowledge. Sure he knew OBL was the perpetrator, but just didn't connect the face to evil like we did.
I talked to someone who was 18 and born on 9/11 the other day. He told me that he didn't really understand what was going on at the time anyway.
So, in the end, I contest that he makes his arguments because he didn't see it like the rest of us did.

Yes, it's 4:30 here and I should have went to bed at at least midnight. I like my sleep and if I have to hear one more crappy remix of Hide and Seek or Love the Way You Lie I will strangle something.

I have a low tolerance for heavy drugs. I don't care what you consider a heavy drug or not, but I have a low tolerance for anyone who does something above pot.
Right now she decided to invite a whole lot of people over and they dropped ex and drank a fuck ton of Vodka. It's 4AM and I'm pretty much about to fucking lose it. If there is an orgy going on or anything gets broken I'm going to lose it.
Right now I'm so pissed I just want suggestions for IRL trolling.

And that's the problem. Didn't even need the rest. See, the purpose wasn't to find evidence because they aren't supposed to ask. It hindered on the idea that, when originally started, that you weren't to flaunt your sexuality while in service. Your private life is your own.
They also had third party sources.
Which meant that there was a way to get around the whole "Don't Ask" part when a "reliable source" can tell the command that they saw or heard about someone engaging in homosexual activity. The law was beyond fucked from the get go.
By the way, I get it, you have a problem with it. Suck it the fuck up.
By the way. You don't speak for the whole Corps.
Most marines are pretty much not okay with this.

Let's not forget that a Federal Government agency told the responders that it's okay to go to Ground Zero and that the dust was not toxic.

Well, maybe that person will have to suck it the fuck up and deal with it. If people can deal with it in their civilian jobs then our military is more than capable of dealing with it on duty.

You are perpetuating the stereotype that all gay men are queens. Yeah, that's not true.
I've met plenty of plain spoken gay men before. You also have a total misunderstanding of what gay people are like. Most of them don't go after men who they know are straight and it's a different dynamic when you are in the military.
Besides, you don't need the ACLU. Both their asses will get NJP'd for that nonsense.

In fact, I'm willing to bet it won't be to long before we have an ACLU lawsuit filed against our military by an openly gay serviceman/woman for sexual discrimination.
Don't reservist have a voice in this too?
Besides, from my experience the Marines aren't fucking okay with this.
