The song I want to make my flash to is the work song by herp alpert and the tiajuana brass. Is this ok?

I suggest a "Spam" genre. And i'm guessing there will be a search by genre option? search by title and author alone is not always enough to get me where i'm going.

I was going to go here to try to get my whistle to be non garbage, but after checking what most of you consider to be abusive reviews, I don't want to anymore.

I got my garbage whistle through flagging a game as stolen because it was an exact copy of a game (minus a few letters) that was already in the portal. Little did i know, that both games came from the same tutorial. The review/whistle system is broken and I don't agree with this thread's idea of an abusive review. I believe a majority of the reviews deleted are done wrongfully so due to harsh criticism.

I'm not trying to insult people or troll, I'm just stating my opinion. I'm probably alone on this, but nothing ever came of keeping your mouth shut.

If there isn't already a CC review thread, can there be one now? I want to know if CC and AH are worth me buying an xbox 360 for. If both of those games really are incredibly amazing then I will buy a 360 to play them.

Stinkoman is a great example of integrating flash and XML. Basically the game engine is entirely in flash and is designed to read xml and generate the level you are playing based off of the xml file. It makes for a really flexible and expandable system. Whenever a new level needs to be added, only the xml file must be created. hope that example helps...

I don't think a friend's feature is needed. I view my co-author list as my friends list, and someone's user page is only a dead end if they have nothing submitted. If you add friends, then more people will be less inclined to actually submit material.

When ever i go to someone's page, i click on some of their flash. If i liked it, and they have co-authors, i will click on their pages and view their other flash. I have seen lots of interesting flash that gets overlooked this way.

I'm kind low on good knife for myself at the moment. I never did get a butterfly knife, but i have played with one and cut knuckles with it.

My carry blade right now is kinda ridiculous for a carry blade. its a gator II (the picture). I've also got an olskool gerber multi-tool along with an ontario knife co. machete and hunting knife (both are full tang). When i get home i'll take pictures of said knife so i can be cool and show em off too.

my fiance gave me that gator 2 because i always bitched about how i lost my gator 1 that had a drop point serrated edge. i loves mah gator 2, but i need to get the drop point serrated edge for it too.

This last picture is a vast improvement over your other drawings. My only suggestion for your drawing style, is that you give it a little more flavor. I know that is ambiguous, but all these fuckheads sayings useless shit like "OMG LEARN ANATOMY N00B!!!LOL" are not realizing that you probably aren't trying to draw a perfect fucking representation of a human being.

The only thing I find lacking in your drawings is that they feel flat. They need another dimension to them (that may be shading, perspective, I don't know, its up to you). In the end, they're your drawings. If what you put on the paper looks like what is in your head, mission accomplished.

Btw, your last picture (looks like it was made in flash) has that extra flavor i was looking for in the other drawings. I can't wait to see how you animate this.

I would use some code like this:

Scanner scan = new Scanner(new FileReader("filename.txt"));

this should open up your file for scanning. I love Scanner because it has some very useful methods. I would use hasNext or hasNextLine to loop through your file. like this:

while(scan.hasNextLine())
{
//do something to each line using scan.nextLine()
}

remember that scan.next() will grab the next string or white space including the newline char. scan.nextLine() will NOT grab the newline character at the end of a line in a file. have fun!

And for the record, i've only made 3 calls: 2 for reviews that were deleted and one for a flash that wasn't. the flash was a clone of another one already on NG so i thought it was stolen. They were both made from some stupid ass tutorial so neither were stolen. no way i could have known that, but whatever.
