thank you.
I meant wobbly in it's movements, but im sure that if i do what you said it would help too.
thanks : )

You just have to try to plan for that stuff ahead of time and make sure your animating at the proper frame rate. What you should do if you want to speed or slow something, is go to it and add or remove some frames. I don't mean double up the frames, i mean actually draw in a few more frames when you want somethign to go slow. Doubling up tends to make things look choppy.
ok thanks very much
this actually helps. it will both slow down the animation, and make it smoother.
a win win.
thanks
does anyone know how to figure out what frame rate works best with certain animations?

Were you using a tablet?
yeah : )
i found out if i dont do it super rough than a start to obsess about how it looks and no work gets done.
so super sloppy is actaully a good thing for me.

actionscripting goes in the flash forum.
ok ok
no worries : )
you need to give us more than that to earn people's help.
i would like to thank you guys for these tips.
this really helped.

i totally agree : )
that was the next step.
actually the next next step.
very thoughtful critique thanks.

ah..... that should have occured to me... i just got too excited.
but thanks for the compliment
ah.... wondered it for years : )I've asked this before and they said it was impossible...but idk
not very reassuring.
but thanks for your suggestion
ok.
thanks anyways : )
that should be a function for flash though.
oh well
hi.
ive been working on this for..... 2 days. on and off anyways.
tell me what you think
i think the bird is too wobbly.
****It is also very rough towards the end... i was trying a morph technique.*****

If it's possible it would only be possible through ActionScript.
Trying asking the Programming Forum maybe.
But if I had to guess, I'd say no :-/
ah.... wondered it for years : )
not very reassuring.
but thanks for your suggestion
can you set certain frames with a specific frame rate without changing the whole project?
I know the "doubles" trick. but that doesn't always work.
I use Flash MX 2004 if that helps

But it's a good start.
thanks for your comment
but, what do you mean it's not very imaginative? have you seen it alot?
i would like to pretend that i am imaginative. But, if im not than im not : )
this is really good.
it's good that you decided to redo it if it didn't work.
good luck

really.... is that it?
i have had the constant problem with the songs that go with my flash.
the problem is this:
when the movie ends the song continues to loop, so when the viewr presses play again the music overlaps with the other one.
a 10 sec. flash showing this example is here
I just need to know how to properly make a flash where the audio does not loop

actually this is including the inbetween.....
ugh.
not good enough huh?
is a link to a flight template I hope to be using in an upcoming project.
tell me what you think.
it's a "traditional 4 key frames" I believe.
but i added some variation with the wings rising up, so it looked more organic

i agree there should be a ripping sound FX
it was very smooth
and great use of "ease in" "ease out"
it looks good so far.
the use of light is good.
and the lines are clean and clear.
apologies are easy but.....
Im sorry that I was a dick in my past threads. I do not apologize for standing up for my art, but I wish that I had done it in a more appropriate and constructive way. And when i lost the argument I wish I would have conceded and accepted my lose.
This is a great cite and I would hate not to be a part of it. Thank you for not banning me, etc.
Once again, I'm sorry.

Pieces that are especially poorly photographed or not cropped properly are always booted to your userpage. Nae was just being nice and giving you the chance to do it yourself instead of one of us doing it for you. You just chose to be a dick about it and make it a big deal.
thanks for the name calling.
I can see Newgrounds is in great hands with people like you shoving your big egos into every nook and cranny.
I disagree, a sketch is a quick piece of art usually done in that of 15 minutes. Just because he drew it on shit paper doesn't mean he should be unscouted, there was a legit amount of time spent on this. What if line paper was part of the compisition, or the message this octopus is sending? (Stay in school, perhaps?)
You should get better paper though dude, it would compliment your excellant artwork. ;D
thanks you for the compliment and backing up my points. Unfortunately i have been unscouted.... oh well.
