Also to the guy who did the giraffe eyes, I like the sketchiness about it combined with the coloring.

Could you guys help me figure out how to outline properly?

In this one i try to outline too thickly/
and in this one it's too thin.

Any suggestions on line weight?

maybe even some traditional??

Response to: Shania's Art Posted September 15th, 2010 in Art

it is getting better when you stated using the line tools.

It's still not great but you got better.

I agree with the idea that you should start drawing traditionaly.
It's harder to put on the computer, but if you really love art you will do it even if nobody will see it.

i agree i like it better in black and white.
but that's just because you haven't got color down 100%
and that can prove to make your work look childish

giraffes are winning btw getting more art representation.

it's not bad.
it's kind of awkward becuase some things are outline while others are not.

it's generally a good idea to oultine things. i.e. his body.
it's done on the hands and the head. but becuase it itsn't present on the rest of the body it looks wierd.

also, since when did salad fingers have a nice sunshine atmosphere/background?

And rattle snakes can jump forward, half of their body length.

Free Sigs. Posted September 14th, 2010 in General

I really enjoy making sigs.
it's a great way to warm up. But ive found myself with more sigs than I could ever use.
So i want to give them to you guys.

Here's the catch
1. Only ONE sig for ONE user. That means if the sig is taken I will announce that it's taken in this thread
2. PLEASE do ask my permission before taking a sig. One because it's courteous to me, the artist, and so I can keep up.
3. (lots of rules sorry) If you use one I would like some credit. i.e. a link to my page in the sig somewhere.

I will also include your screen name on the picture if you like.

That's it.
I do hope you guys pick up on these.
Im not taking requests but feedback is always appreciated.
Cheers

-Joe

p.s.
the first one to start it off: SHROOMS!!!
