There's a cottage with this girl and her father.
They watch over these mills that help create clouds.
Cloud making is a long process so I'm not going to explain it : )

but this is a picture she took from her bedroom window just after waking up.

Response to: Hi, I'm new Posted December 13th, 2010 in Art

the design of the muscle dude it good, the outline makes for a good silhouette.

the water droplets is very well drafted. but other than the splash I wouldn't be able to tell that it was water...maybe add some highlights and make it look smooth.

I like your line art in all of your pictures.
Your coloring is also very enjoyable. The neon colors are great and not too overused.

Response to: Unscouted Limit... Posted December 11th, 2010 in Art

some of them are good. the first one is my fav here I like it because it's clever and therefore interesting. Maybe throw some fanart in there.

Response to: some art. Posted December 11th, 2010 in Art

working on posters is a great way to practice but you might also want to practice with basic geometric shapes and life studies.

But posters are a great way to work on composition and other types of placement.
keep it up : )

Response to: I has an Art thread (again) Posted December 11th, 2010 in Art

These are really nice.
I like the first one, but it looks like your trying to hide his face, and that kind of ruins it. But the torso anatomy looks really nice.

The last piece, looks really friendly and happy : ) great for christmas.

lol the hipster poster is hilarious.

the pose looks mostly solid, there's still a lot of sketchyness that has to be taken care off.

Response to: Manu's Art Thread (new & Improved) Posted December 10th, 2010 in Art

Feel free to comment, but I wont be making any more changes to this drawing.
Ill try to post another drawing next week.

you improved this drawing greatly. You really took peoples critique to heart, which is great.
something you may want to try is to draw shapes. The top three shapes are rectangles, cylinders and spheres. These all are the basis of life drawing and I cant tell you how much these shapes have helped my art.
if you do end up doing this you can warp the shapes and squish the spheres for extra practice.
