great work!!
I like the pose, and how the concept art evolved into such a finished piece
your art is incredible I love the style and the way you use paint.
I really like to odd proportions and the umbrella pic is sweet.
A wip
I watched a saw marathon and decided to make something.
final will be up by the end of today.
comments would be helpful

I like the foreshortening in this piece.
it's not bad...
the gradient in the sky is alright
You make a thread with a title you like, but dont make it too vague....
like I did *facepalm*
And then you post things that people can respond to. If you post something that's just scribbles people are going to have a had time saying something, so they probably wont.
There's nothing wrong with you liking your own art.
If you can inspire yourself than that's really good.

Interestingly bad or good, I suppose either way it's interesting.
im kinda torn because I like the idea of the series, but they aren't very refined.
I think it has huge potential for a great series, they just aren't very refined.
with this said I realize that these are just sketches and with that in mind these make for great sketches

ohhh mah god
this is spectacular dude.
It's not bad.
the proportions are close enough
the pose is the thing that really bothers me. Nobody stands like that, it's extremely awkward. try again
looking very cool so far bro. love the scarf and angle of the pic
thanks im actually having a lot of trouble with the angle.
if anatomy was hard before this is just bizarre : P
This is the type of warm up exercises i've been doing.
I would like to see how you guys warm up.
Feel free to post some warm up exercises in this thread. I would really like to see them.
I made this for the make your own Vexon and I need feedback for this beginning sketch.
ok here's an early WIP
tell me what you think
Thanks.
On a unrelated note, I'm stopping digital shit for a month or two. Reason being I am really unsatisfied with my skill level right now. Like, I really really hate my works and I'm going to get a shit load of pencils and try to use every inch of that a3 art book which I never used and hope that I might, you know, not suck major dick at the end of it.
<HIATUS>
ok dude
good luck
it's really impressive to see such drive. It's really rare to find someone who cares that much to tear themselves down and then build themselves back up.
I wish you luck
and even if you think you suck I do like some of your digital pieces.

Ill be uploading a WIP later tonight
It's taking a little long, im really slow.
but soon it will be up
these are all really great.
you should be able to get scouted relatively soon
Yeah...i really like drawing anatomy, but where the skin is removed. Holy crap, that sounds creepy.
heh
the best artists are always really creepy
I found drawing boxes, spheres and squished cylinders has been helping my art soooo much!
Here's an example of the types of exercises Ive been doing.
This helps me warm up.
you guys should post some of your warming up exercises on here too!!!!!
It will be fun.
:They look pretty good but the problem is that I can't make out what's happening in the picture because the :colours are too similar and don't contrast enough. If you work on the colours more it'd be really great.
ok thanks for the helpful insight. Ill try that next time Im working on one of these.
I commented your shrooooooooooOOOOoomfest
:I see you really do like the lines as shading, as stated in a review of one of my portal entries, you're right :about the anatomy of the skull, what is one hell of a crimson chin but it's a bloody good sketch. I think as :stated by cloudeater, you should either greatly vary the contrast of colour or experiment with different :colours with the blue.
thanks Toasty Ill be sure to keep that in mind with the next piece.

Very nice, the two different pens certainly add a lot of depth. I'm no fan of these girl in the cottage drawings... they seem pretty bland.
thank you so much for your honest opinion. I really appreciate it : )
Yeah. People seem to like my pen drawings. But unfortunately that's all I have are these pen drawings. Right now Im having so much fun with these girl in the cottage pictures. I hope to refine this style and maybe you'll end up liking them : )
