i liked it.
i havent read through all of yours and it's a little hard because the earlier ones seem a bit cluttered.

but the story seems solid and I like the twist at the end where he needs help.
you mixed in humor and a menacing situation well.

i really like your rough style.
it's not smooth like other artists, but that's not a bad feeling.

it makes your art feel very personal and that is a very good thing : )

Response to: Art and whatnot. Posted June 13th, 2011 in Art

your stuff is really good!!

i really like the exercise of quick and oddly shaped thumbnails.

I suppose....but i dont see anything wrong with what works.

maybe sketching shouldn't be your first step, maybe a thumbnail would work best for you.

Response to: 15 Minute Sketches Here., Posted May 6th, 2011 in Art

love your pencil work.
and i think the point is to eventually become comfortable enough with sketching that it will take 15 min.
soooo 20 min shouldn't be a bad thing.

Response to: Why 30 Fps? Posted April 20th, 2011 in Animation

At 4/20/11 10:05 AM, terabiter wrote: It depends whats in the animation. If the character is animated frame by frame then a lower frame rate is better. But if all of the work is using motion tween and shape tween you can get much smoother movement

how is a lower frame better for frame by frame.
most film runs on 24 fps

Response to: Why 30 Fps? Posted April 20th, 2011 in Animation

i was wondering the same thing
30 seems a little high and unnecessary.

I mean..it would look better. but then again 40 would look better than 30 but it;s not necessary.

I heard that 24 fps is the sweet spot (not too much work, not too choppy)

The newsprint is thin enough for these to be wheat-pasted and last a while.

also how did you get the stone?
the only place i can only find them is in art classes.
