A. Go to local gun shop, EARLY, you don't want any assholes taking them before you get there, guns make people crazy. Get a rifle, a shotgun and a couple pistols (for people to tag along with)
(If gun shop not available go to walmart, guns, food, everything!, but don't stick around!)
B. Get a bus or a large truck to travel in, weld metal around it, put spikes on it, do ANYTHING to make sure it's impossible for them to get in. Remember zombies AREN'T SMART!, they don't have opposable thumbs, they throw themselves at you!
C. Explosives are a must!, Crowds of zombies will be impossible to shoot or drive through.
D. Get yourself a posse!, mainly your friends!, If you find a lucky survivor check them THOUROUGHLY For bites!!! People you can stand mostly should be in there and people with skills, LIKE DOCTORS!
E. DON'T STICK AROUND CITIES!, large populations = ARMIES OF ZOMBIES!! So when you have your posse, your weapons, supplies, and means of REASONABLE transportation (no little saturns) then you may begin your journey up to a safe location, there's about 5 that are good enough.
SAFE LOCATIONS:
1. Island, though teeming with zombies you should be able to waste and burn the population in roughly a month.
2. Military base, Not a personal choice of mine... :O, it's like, assholes who own you and make a military dictatorship. NOT what I have in mind., but safe.
3. Mountain towns. Most popular on the East Coast of America mountain towns are perfect!, If the virus HAS spread to them you can wipe out the population easy!, A mountain holds a great defensive position and a beautiful view!
4. On the road. At this point Gas should be free because of lack of government intervention. As long as you keep on the road and travel (like nomads) you can always find new supplies, new people, new ammunition and a permanant escape plan.
5. IF ALL ELSE FAILS, isolated mansion. Usually in gated places and usually far away from the main population these provide security un-parallel to any house. It even includes panic rooms usually and fresh supplies for months.
