Firefox is faster than IE7 or IE8 with the default phishing filters.

Some addons to note are.
-Newgrounds Classic(obligatory whore)
-NoScript(stops many viruses by only running scripts on pages you trust)
-Newgrounds Toolbar

As said before get Beta 5 it runs a lot better than Firefox 2 and has better security.

Now assuming each square on the board is a few months of life, well, spinning a ten is like having an entire year vanish. Imagine that - a year just vanishing off your life.

I saw in a movie once that eating aborted foetuses can make you younger. That way you can spin a ten and go back a few squares for every foetus. It's an awesome advancement in the game of life that can potentially allow you to play forever as fast as you like and it tastes good, too.

No. Multiplayer doesn't make a good game. It just means you can play with people.

FUN is the only thing that makes a good game.

Short answer, no.

Long answer, you need to have knowledge of your partition program in order to use it. Both Partition Magic and Gparted are easy to use, have instructions available and therefore you shouldn't have a problem.

To resize using Gparted simply follow the instructions on the website. Here is the page on resizing.

To use the liveCD, simply unzip or burn the disc image available. Then [re]start your computer with the CD in your drive and boot it, this is similar to when you installed Ubuntu.

Hope it helps.

A fucking disgusting, ill-minded one at that.

The internet is good like that. People can potentially be anyone they want so I'm going defend Natalia777 a little because I think there's nothing wrong with a bit of harmless fun.

Of course having said that there is a limit to some things and without knowing what was in the PMs I get the feeling my position can easily change.

The GParted liveCD can easily resize your Windows partition without wiping any data. Plus side over Partition Magic is it's free so relatively inexpensive for a one-time change as opposed to $70.

It's never a good idea to delete data from a layer. Masks are way better as they are a form of non-destructive editing, and because of this allows you to fix any mistakes/oversights and make adjustments without having to import the source of the layer or go back in the history to copy the original.

I know nobody posted in this thread (bastards >:( ) but some people might be interested to why my latest change to the theme was made.

I've now stopped the animation by default to prevent motion sickness which occurred in some people and to make the theme more user friendly by not forcing new users to endure the task of stopping it while they have a bad reaction that can in turn, prevent them from disabling the animation in the first place.

For people who liked the animation, you can reactivate it at any time using instructions provided in the add-on description.

Any thoughts or opinions?

Topic: Newgrounds Classic Theme Version 2

Posted: 04/16/08 11:39 PM

Forum: General

I've just released the beta version of Newgrounds Classic for Firefox 3 beta 5 and up. The full version will include over 50 new icons besides the ones already there. There are a lot of changes that have been made from the survey I've run and some reviews.

These include the changes with the tank loading pics so they no longer bounce and the tank background smaller so it can be seen on lower rez computers. I've also remade the toolbars and animated background from scratch, so don't trust the preview images on the addons site as they are still for the older version of NG Classic.

The ability to stop the animation (now limited to the main window only) has been improved and so has add-on compatibility. I've also removed the red background in the sidebar that while good at first, was annoying as hell once I got used to it.

One of the major things I've tried to do with this theme is to prove that it could be made for free by using only GIMP, Inkscape and a freeware text editor called Notepad++. The only exception was that the animation had to be done in Flash and Photoshop CS3.

At the moment this version is untested on Mac OS X so if anyone could give me feedback regarding this it would help the theme a lot. Putting bug reports and/orimages in this thread or via PM would also help as I want to do some serious bug testing. Enjoy.

PS: To use the new alternate toolbar add the following line to your userChrome.css before the @namespace line (this is also placed in the version notes under 'Advanced Details') :
@import url("chrome://global/skin/alternate/ngcA ltToolbar.css");

Any updates on version 2 will also be posted in this thread when they become available.

TL;DR:
Newgrounds Classic 2.0b is now available on the Mozilla Addons site for Firefox 3. Yay!

I wonder how long it will take for people to see 'Mad as Hell' face?
