Try doing the flag with gems and jewels! That way you can keep the blue and red.

I like the chromium version though, it looks almost like a photograph.

Try drawing the characters from different angles, that should help.

Whoa, they look like candy. You should really animate that, and maybe find a programmer to make it into a game. I'd like to see that very much! And I'll vote five ;)

Gosh, it's taking a bloody long time to harden. I'm not the patient kind. =(

Response to: Music to animate to? Posted July 23rd, 2008 in Game Development

Try listen to some soft music, songs similar to Against All Odds by Phil Collins (I know it's quite an old song, but it's good =D)

Great points! I've failed for about everything, especially the point about not quitting. Ah well, I still have six sevenths of my life to go, so nothing to worry about, eh ;)

The white one looks good. But you should change the colour of the text. Green doesn't seem to fit well.

I haven't touched clay in 4 years - that's a lot considering I'm twelve. Anyway, I just got inspired and started making clay figures again.

I need comments on my model! Tips on how to do it better, too.

Also, I have a question. How do I colour the model? Do I use poster paint, or some other kind?

Thanks in advance.

Yeh, I don't like sticking to one style. It's plain.

I drew my very own spot. The moat keeps predators out!

Sorry for the extremely extremely bad quality, I've already tried to make it better by balancing it out in Fireworks.

That hand is a little flawed. Take a look at your ring finger and little finger. Pinky is one whole fingertip shorter than Ringie, and you drew them about the same length.

Happy blue guy, wanting a hug.

Sorry about that bright white spot, I forgot to take a picture before framing it.

[Bytheway, I put all my art here by taking pictures with a camera, so sorry for the bad quality. I don't have a scanner.]

Kay, this isn't exactly Art, but I drew stuff so it should fit.

Doodled a sequence of someone (tenpin) bowling, then took photos and cleaned it up on the computer.

View the full animation here (it's not exactly done yet, but it's not likely to be)

No, you're getting it wrong. I'm not posting in the order that it was done, just digging up old (and not-so-old) art from my files.

picture number 5 (or was it 6?)

Trying out a simple effect and it turned out rather well. The effect simple gradients have can be amazing.

The Picture That Is Number Three

A wallpaper I did to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2008, also the Year of the Rat. This is just the preview version, the full-size wallpapers are lost somewhere in ImageShack and I can't be bothered to retrieve it, but I can export the file again if you PM me. Remember to state your resolution.

Hello there!

I've decided to create a new thread for my art because the old thread is 2 months old and had an extremely unappealing title.

I don't have a tablet, so all my art is using the mouse. And since I'm more familiar with Flash than any other program, I use the line tool in flash to do my digital art.

Can't say I'm a very accomplished artist yet, but there's a long way to go - I'm only twelve years old.

Anyway, I'll put here some of my traditional art as well as digital art. Remember to visit my website!

First picture
Ice cream monster!!! Yellow warty beast!!! Poster colour.

They're simply awesome. Amazing how you can create photoshop-quality pictures with only very limited tools. Can you post some of your non-speed painting work? If you could do so well in such a short time, I can't wait to see what all your effort can do.

Response to: New website up Posted July 15th, 2008 in Programming

Wow, thank you all for the help, especially to wabi, anim8or and different.

I'm going to find out how to do the navigation with CSS right after this, since Flash isn't needed here.

Thanks once again.

New website up Posted July 14th, 2008 in Programming

Hello there,

I've been working on my website for about 2 months now, in Dreamweaver. I'm a noob at html and such, so i use purely wysiwyg. I know people say it's not good for websites, but it turned out rather well for mine. I am happeee!

Suggestions, criticism and all the you-know-what

Most of you will know about the second Secret Item, Leave a Message. I won't give the link for obvious reasons. Anyway, it says This allows you to leave a short message on the front page of Newgrounds. You can promote your web site, rant, or leave a miscellaneous comment! Messages can only be 80 characters, no HTML is allowed, and you can leave only one message per day.
And I was just wondering where exactly does the message show up? I can't seem to find it anywhere on the flash portal page or the home page.
Thanks.
