all the effects and stuff are good. but there's one thing that makes any graphic crappy, and that's gradients that are way obvious. change that please.

this is much better than cramming the flash portal with 'test' entries.

I'm wondering if there's a script to make rain fall at random from the top, because it's hard to animate each raindrop. and also, making many different movie clips cause it to lag.

can anyone give me the script for something like that? and where exactly to put it too, because i'm a total noob at AS. thanks in advance!

there's something wrong with your computer/browser. I used to have pop-up ads linking to virus sites wherever i go, but it's gone now cos i got an anti-virus. maybe you should do a spyware scan? i heard clearing provate data helps too...

I'm not a god at AS, but i've made something like that, and it worked. Hoplefully you understand what i meant and hopefully you will make it work.

i used to use that before i got flash. i switched because i got tired of sprites o_0

i tried this as well:

two keyframes inside a movie clip, labels are 'up' and 'pressed'. each of the keyframes have stop action.
movieclip has actions:

onClipEvent (enterFrame){
this.gotoAndStop("over")
}
onClipEvent (mouseDown) {
this.gotoAndStop("lighted")
}

it works ok, but when i test movie the following errors appear:

**Error** Symbol=lights 1, layer=Layer 1, frame=1:Line 1: Statement must appear within on/onClipEvent handler
stop();

what does it mean and how to fix it?

I've got this little problem here...
how do i make a button stay at the 'down' frame when clicked? and not switch back to 'up' once you release the mouse? actionscript can't be placed inside a button...

can anyone help please? oh, it doesn't have to be a button, but something that works in the way i described.
