Harh harh. I can post the picture of the life cycle and internal organs if you want =D
i dunno, because some mod thought it was unnecessary i guess. what d'you need it for, anyway?

BLOB
OVERVIEW
Name: Blob
Scientific Name: Blobus Dumbus
Lifespan: up to 10 years
Solitary
PHYSICAL
Blobs have a thin layer of slim coating on their skin, similar to that of a snail's. The slime coating protects a blob from bacteria and their fragile leather-like, semi-permeable skin from puncturing. With only five weak muscles, three of which control the rotation of an only eye, blobs rely much on their powerful internal organs for survival.
MOVEMENT
A blob's brain is built mostly for controlling movement. Through voluntary organ spasms, a blob is able to propel its body forward by rolling.
LIFE CYCLE
Blobs reproduce asexually, through the process of splitting its cells rapidly. The blob grows to two times of size after a year of hibernating, after which its skin breaks and peels off, exposing the parent in its normal size and the hatchling. Hatchlings are born fully developed. A parent stays with its hatchling until it can search for food independently, taking about 15 days.
HABITAT
Residing in school canteens, a blob stays out of sight during the day, hiding mostly in flush compartments of toilets. During the night when canteens are closed, however, they emerge in search of food. A blob's single eye can sense movement very well in the dark, but is unable to withstand the intense amount of light during the day.
FEEDING
Blobs rely solely on cooked duck and tomatoes for food and liquids. There is no need to drink as juicy tomatoes provide sufficient water. To eat, blobs use their mouth openings lined with small hooks to attach themselves to the food. After securing the piece of food, their internal organs contract and the vacuum created causes the food to be moved into the body. Blobs then take a nap lasting up to a day, where many vital processes are shut down and all energy is concentrated on digestion. Blobs do not expel solid waste; all parts of the food are fully digested and broken down for energy.
PREDATORS
Blobs' main predators are canteen stall owners and cleaners, who hunt them for fear that they might loot their food or spread germs. Common birds such as pigeons and crows feed on hatchlings along with leftover scraps of food due to their fluid contents and high nutritional value. When attacked, blobs summon about all of their strength to throw themselves out of the predator's range of sight, and effectively escape. Blobs are usually thoroughly exhausted after this, making them unable to move for many hours. Hatchlings and younger blobs, however, do not have sufficient energy to do this, and instead inhale a great amount of air, inflating their bodies to ten times of size. This will effectively shock most predators away.

wow. you actually bothered.
alien hominid has many haters.
Here's another happy guy. I've added some shading, no gradients :)
Done in about 10 mins (in flash too).

hmmm... alien hominid people are fighters. this dude is just happy.
can i join? i'm not a very good animator, but i'll send you my part.
I was bored, drew this in 5 minutes in flash xD. It's some weird alien-person being happy. The image quality isn't very good, gradients don't work well in GIFs (i think).
Comments?
you should work on the lens flare, it doesn't look real. try to make it more to the left corner, and bigger dots.
both pictures are totally amazing. oh, the smoke in the first picture is ok, i guess that's just your style.
more, please!

since now, it seems. got a prob?
There are a lot here. Check from the given page to the last, you'll prob level your whistle. i think.
yea, like some comments on that vid, change the background! it sucks.
there are quite a few here, and on page 11
it could be done in flash. if you don't believe it, shut up. flaming someone for something you don't believe makes you an idiot.
there's too little action, the only thing that's moving is the little stick guy. if you made the guy fight with other sticks or interact with the environment, it'd be better.
oh btw, i'm not sure if you should be posting a topic like this in the forums. read the rules.
maybe there ain't enough space on your disk for the movie. just maybe.
you need flash. there. you should have all the files (.dll or whatever) when you got flash.
:i think
for a moment i thought NG glitched because of that 'reply to post' picture.
<code> won't work because we're not in the flash forum. notice the "<code>" doesn't show up under "HTML you may use" when posting a reply in other forums.
