Topic: Favourite Zelda game.

Posted: 04/22/08 11:34 AM

Forum: Video Games

I've played all the Zelda-games (except hand-held), and it's hands down Ocarina of Time. Its easy the best game of all time. Ofcourse that can be debated, since it would suck if it got released now. But at least for me, it's the game that stands out in my VERY VERY long career within gaming.

Second place is for Twilight Princess, it was damn good. But the magic is gone a little for me, since I dont have the time to lock the doors and get really involved. Also I beat it too fast. 40+ hours or something.

Anyway, if fucking Nintendo can get their facts straight and realize that this is 2008 and the time for ONLINE-play and high defenition with their next console, I will continue to be a trusty fan of the Zelda-franchise.

Motorstorm ... other than that ... well thats it.
I regret I ever bought the overprized overhyped piece of shit.
My 360 gets all the attention ... it's just more fun.

My Wii is also collecting dust after I finished Twilight Princess.

Unfortunately, software is the answer to all your needs.
But for very good audio-convertion from and to every format, I recommend Adobe Audition. It has everything you (and I) need, and a tad more.

Anyway, you should be able to record just audio with your webcam. I dont know how this works with yours, but mine has a "record audio only" option in the bundled software for it. Just try looking around in the options, and I guess you'll find it.

Hmmm ... the remake of Resident Evil 1 on the Gamecube had some awesome moments.

But seriously, I had 3 weeks of continous HOLY FAWK-moments when playing though The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the 64 for the first time. That game just changed my perspective on what to demand from games ... forever. That game was pretty much smoothie to da tooty-fruity.

All hail Link ... and his silly helpless hard to get dancil in distress!

Nice stuff there Nick :)

Anyway, RKO (RKO) and AmigaRemix/ has everything you need on this subject. Just search and find. Also, Remix64 has an easy search-function to find whatever remixed game-songs you want to find.

lol. I was wondering that too. I'm guessing it had to do with the castle crashers bearded tom fulp game.

True that! But hey, give her another hard month at the gym - and I'd download "One Night in Britney". Maybe she can do a collab with Paris even, to get the focus of the brain-damage!

It's pathetic when people need to steal from others to get reckognition.
But stealing from people within the same website is just braindead.

Actually, this is "Better off Alone" by Alice DeeJay. An established female artist produced by Dj Jürgen. The lead is identical to the original, and it sounds like the whole thing is exactly that ... a RIP.

Anyway, for proof you could always take a look at the original music-vid at the tube:

But other than that, I guess my all time favorite are Instant Remedy. He has made tons of very high quality remixes of my favorite games from the Amiga and Commodore 64. There's a lot of others as well, but Instant Remedy stands out to me. Anyway, Failrlight Children also is good. Run by the man who sings in Apoptygma Berzerk, and inspired by chip-tunes.

Here you got an example from what Instant Remedy makes:

Yes, you can extract the samples individually and import them into FLStudio as *.wav. Learning how to use a tracker might be a little too much hazle just for a few samples. It's a little alien and "nerdy" compared to the user-friendly interface of FL.

But yes, you can extract the samples.
You'll understand how very quickly if you open Modplug Tracker (it's free) and snoop around.

I cant give you any more details, as I uninstalled those driver when I bought Roland soundcards.

But that looks like Windows's sound manager.
I DO remember Realtek having it's very own manager, with a different design.

But if you cant locate it, I guess I cant help :/

Haha, cute. But seriously, NO dammit.
.IT files are simply the native filetype used when saving songs from quite another software to make music in, which would be Impulse Tracker. You can open it and listen to it using in Winamp I think. I might have a plugin, but I think you can. If not, go download "Modplug Player" for instance. If you want to extract samples and/or edit the original file - you go download "Modplug Tracker".

Impulse Tracker, FastTracker, ProTracker and so forth is just old sample-based "sequencers" like FLStudio. I actually started out making music on a tracker on my Amiga 500 16 years ago.

Oh the memories!
