Haha the self-worship in the AP is a neverending story of fail.
I dont even care about what time I release a new track. It's all just bull anyway.

But what MUST suck for those "0-bombing" bastards that really make a effort to fuck up the ranks and promote their own shit - is the fact that i casually submitted my "Forever Gamer" on a thursday (04/17/2008 | 05:50PM EDT) - and made the top 5.

Not only that, but I got 520 reviews, around 4000 votes, 35.000 listens, 4500 downloads and rank 1 in the dance-charts for two full weeks. It took them some time, but they finally managed to drag the score down eventually. But that was honest work from me at least.

And it made me laugh.

I dont have anything to complain about, really.
The people are great - the reviews are honest - the design is flawless.

HOWEVER:
(ok, one complaint maybe ... and one suggestion)

- Do something about the annoying voting-system. (it doesnt represent quality at all)
- Add rewards that mean something, like the FP has. (makes contributing and competing more fun)

Possible solution:

Remove 1/2/3/4/5-voting, and let the score be based on REVIEWS and THAT SCORE.
That way zero-bombers would have to show their identity when awarding that zero.

I didnt care at first, but its beginning to bug me a bit as well.
The top charts dont reflect quality at all.
Actually I feel lucky to find anything good on the first page at all.

And as for my own songs, altough ALL 10 reviews on some - the score drops more and more and more and more for each day passing by.

So thats a bit sad! But try to forget about it.
People notice good artists and come back for more if they like it, regardless of the score.

Actually my whole artist name is SkyMarshall Arts, but I fucked it up when I registered.

Anyway, ever seen the movie "Starship Troopers"? Well, the military commander in chief there is ranked as a "skymarshall", and I started using that for online names. And then when I started to make music "seriously" - I thought of Martial Arts .... and thereof SkyMarshall Arts.

Silly ... but original at least.

This was a good review, with his thoughts on it. For the most part, reviews dont even get that good if they dont like it. Hell, most people just give you a "0" and move on after listening to 5 seconds of your song. To be honest, I agree with Teckos. You don't make good music. Actually, I wouldnt define it as music - it's just horrible sounds. But you're 13 and learning, so you should just concentrate on improving ... and yes, you need improvement. But it will come in time. But as of now ... you're not any good.

So if I have to pick a side ... I choose to stand by Teckos.
It was a perfectly honest and legit review.

If people like the song, the will tell you - and they do. THAT is what matters.
Zero bombers prolly dont hate your song, they just hate the fact that its ranked better :p

I played GTA 1 and 2, when it was 2D ... when it hit 3D it just became ... well ... boring.

Resident Evil 4 ... it was shockingly awesome. i enjoyed that TOO much.
Also, the Residen Evil 1 remake on the GC was insane.

I think "Oblivion" for the 360 was a waist of time. It was utter boring.
That kind of game in single-player was just time-consuming and pointless.
