If you're looking for teenagers living in the US, your best bet would probably be to upload sometime between 1500 and 2200, as that's when activity is at the highest. Sex sells, so make sure your icon clearly implies sexual content. At the same time, make sure your art isn't tagged "Adult" as the adult section isn't enabled by default.

yeah I'd say teenagers or young adults in the U.S, but that's the majority of NG anyways. Yeah, I'm thinking of doing somthing at least at a mature level later, not sure about adult just yet.

Yeah I'm curious if there's a hidden secret, kind of a demographic direction like in what time of the day would make it most likely for your art to be seen. Try and give as many good times and give some Cons and pros to doing it if possible.

Response to: what don't you like about this? Posted April 30th, 2014 in Art

I'm personally not a very strong artist, but as a critic, I think I can help you out a bit. First of all, it seems that you are expecting a score fairly close to 5. I don't know if you really are, but the way that this post is phrased it makes me feel that way. Expecting scores in the mid to high 4s is not very reasonable unless you really are a top-notch artist because on the art portal there are so many supremely talented artists. Keeping that in mind, you may want to strive for those kinds of ratings, but expecting them for anything that doesn't look like work from somebody like Shad or Hyptosis is unreasonable. Now, on to the actual drawing. Your shading is average at best, and the text boxes are just plain sloppy. Unless you can really find a way to integrate them well, they really throw off the work, and when they're done like that you might as well just leave them out. Furthermore, the work in general is lacking enough detail and the shapes are not done as crisply as something necessitating a 5 would be. The focal green character's body is confusing; does he have arms? Does he not? You make it look like both without much clarity at all. In sum, the work is mediocre, and while you may improve, right now this is realistically a 1.5 or 2.

now that I look at it, I believe you are right, thanks, and no I wasn't expect a 5, just didn't except something below a 2. Really all, I wanted to know is why it looks like crap. No sugar coating it anymore :P Everything you said in there was true. this is my first time having someone actually rate my work, most people on deviantart and real life are basically ass kissers :P . I also Kind of rushed it a little at the end because I've been so busy with stuff. so yeah, I do think no more than a 2 would be fair.

Response to: what don't you like about this? Posted April 30th, 2014 in Art

Simply put, this pic isn't great. The linework's scratchy and sloppy, and the speech bubbles are just squeezed into the corners.

Then there's the stuff he's saying. It's not funny, it's just pointlessly rude. 2 stars is about right.

oh ok, thanks for the critique i'll do my best next time!

No, he still owns the team, but he's banned from NBA and has lost sponsors and most of his team, so he'll have no choice but to sell it to someone else.

Response to: I found my dad's porn Posted April 29th, 2014 in General

Lol I have a friend who was 13 at the time and when we hung out together he showed me a page of his dad's porno magazine. and one time when I visited his house and he and I were alone in it he found his father's porno dvd and we watched. There was a black couple in the kitchen, the woman was cooking without any pants (she had a nice big ass btw XD ) and the man went up to her, then , well, you know what happens in most porno films after that....

Oh yeah, you're right, I totally forgot about that first amendment thing. I guess PR is now suddenly going to cease being a thing that companies and organizations care about.
This may be only slightly semi-relevant but do you know you can get arrested if you get caught making a death threat against the President?

Is this sussposed to be relevant because you're basically considering even death threats as a type of speech. Well, I understand what you're coming from, but if your making threat's like that, you would basically be conspiring to kill a human being, and it's illegal to not only do it to the president, but anyone. Although it seems like only 1 out of 1000 death threats would actually be real. Most people usually use Death threats usually it seems to the intent to scare or shock and make their victim feel unsafe and worried constantly and to make themselves heard.

I saw it. Its not that great to have 5 stars. 3 stars is good.

Well that's because someone finally gave it something higher than a 2 and I also voted it a 5 myself. ( lol I cheated)

i wonder how sterling's wife is taking the news. not only did her husband lose the job but she finds he had a girlfriend/mistress as well! aha!

You would be a great way for her to get back at him? by buying the team herself or winning in court or something. But I don't know, maybe they might get back together or something. At first she was also calling him a racist, but now she's saying he's not.

I might be the first one :3 . Al though I'm not really calling it fan art in away I was kind of making fun of the show I guess. I'm just wondering would people try and hate on art because of the show it's based off of.

what don't you like about this? Posted April 28th, 2014 in Art

I'm just curious as to why people might not like it, or wouldn't give it a 5, I'm striving to be the best that I can at this. So what would be reasons, I know when you zoom in you can kind of see some of the flaws in it. Also would it also be the fact that many people don't like uncle grandpa? Any advice on how I can do better on this? Should I put a smaller resolution? because when you see it a little further away you an't even notice them.

The lifespan of a thread depends on luck or interest from the users about the subject. The topic from 2008 you're talking about was either interesting to other people or it was just lucky and got a huge ammount of people replying to it. Don't feel bad if your first thread dies off quite soon, every thread eventually dies.

yeah, but the thing is, It's a topic that I really want to talk about but no one is that interested and I mostly made to find other people on this site who also use free tools to animate, and if I let it die then no one will be able to see it, and like in the rules you can't repost that topic.

thanks for that, but this wasn't really made to bump, the purpose of this was to merely ask for advice about keeping the topic alive. I just posted a link if anyone was interested in looking at it. But this wasn't really my intent.

yeah, I notice after I post something depending on what I post it get a bunch of people talking and then dies off in just an hour. There's one topic I'm really seriously about, and I would love everyone to share something related to it. I really want to see as many animations made in free programs as possible and maybe use it as a way to show people there are so many ways to animate as long as you put effort into it or something like that.
