I like the use of two-point perspective, but I really dig the black sky.

I like the 2 point perspective as well. And the car does bug me too, once it drove to the end of the street it would become half as tall as the building it would be in front of. NIce use of shading though. I dig the ufo in the back ground, but i think the american flag my be a bit big as well. I would score it in at 85/100 though, good job.

I really like this one. you should try to expand on her a little and draw another with her and one of your dragons together.

Looks pretty good. i really dont much care for the stars on the riviera one, it makes it look sorta cheap.

without lines is always so much better. if you use the ones with lines and you shrink them down real small all you see is a black blob, with out the lines you will at least be able to tell what it is.

Here is a clown I painted way back in 91'. The actual painting is water color on high test water board and it is 24X36 i think. I'd have to dig it out to measure to be sure. This is my version of Tommy Pon's Dangerous Toys Clown. I actually drew the clown several times different sizes before I stuck with painting it this big.

I like the black on black, you should invert it to see what it would look like.

Do what your good at, if that is mechs then do mechs. just dont get stuck in a rut. try new things, if they dont work out do mechs.

These are all pretty nice. I think you should try the 100 pics project with this style and these characters.

Response to: Final Fantasy Clock Posted August 2nd, 2008 in Art

This would have actually been cool if you had taken the time to draw all those figures form the final fantasy covers yourself. and it doesnt even look like a clock, you could have at least made a proper clock face to show it out. right now it is more less a concept, no where near a finished piece.

Fix the nipples, they need to be bigger, and fix the vagina area, it looks weird to me. I dont think it should look so camel toesh in the buff. i take it the half moon in the mid section is the belly button? all in all it is a good start.

Response to: fish1892's Digital Art Thread Posted August 1st, 2008 in Art

Number 1..3..4 are good teh other 2 not so good. I would suggest you just keep at it. everyone has ups and downs, even some of the best artists here churn out some quality (horrible) crap sometimes. I like the cartoon feel of some of the pieces.

Response to: opinons??? Posted August 1st, 2008 in Art

Compared to the items he is standing next to he appears to be a giant. make sure you draw the things around him proportionate to him. He looks okay, maybe you can practice drawing him a little more in several different poses and costumes to get him down. post some more pics of him if you got him so we can compare.

Response to: my first art submission Posted July 31st, 2008 in Art

You should darken your outlines a little bit that way when you run them through photoshop (if that is waht youuse) you can use the magic brush to highlight the back ground and then just delete it. you will end up with a smooother looking image, not a shotty one like the one you posted. P.s. the background totally blows on this image as well. all it does is make the picture look worse.

I think everyone is going bat crazy. The movie was good but not that good. If you want some good batman references watch the new release Gotham Knight, that is a great animated flick.
