I meant the flood area. If find a good water tutorial try that, i remember someone posting one up a while back.
Sometimes i'm an idiot and don't time what i'm trying to say.
It just looks like a bunch of blur, find a decent picture of some water ripple and try to replicate it on your piece so it looks like water.
The picture of Venom has to be the best one. The Carnage one is too messy and Spiderman's head is too big for his body. All in all they are pretty good.
For the piece you posted.
The biggest thing i can see is that the name is not very pronounced. with all the mess that is going on with this piece you need to clean it up... a lot. First start by making the letters on the name thicker. Second get rid of some of those graff arrows. Re arrange some stuff and then re ink it or outline it in a digital program.
As for your friend wanting to buy you paint.
Thats all well and good if you can clean up your art some. Have fun practicing though and post your stuff up when you finish so we can check it out.

I'm running out of good artwork to show.... I have unfinished stuff, but I don't want to post it.
This is finished, btw.
They all look pretty good. I like this one over the colored pencil one. If you can do this then you should redo the others too to make them all look better.

The picture is AMAZING! Great job on all the detail, it will turn out just as good, if not better than the Hell Sketches.

Yeah this hsould have been put in the Artpad thread, but it is pretty sweet. Nice job.

Define new keyboard shortcuts

Choose Window > Workspace > Keyboard Shortcuts & Menus and click the Keyboard Shortcuts tab.
Choose a set of shortcuts from the Set menu at the top of the Keyboard Shortcuts and Menus dialog box.
Choose a shortcut type from the Shortcuts For menu:

Click Accept to assign the shortcut to the new command or tool and erase the previously assigned shortcut. After you reassign a shortcut, you can click Undo Changes to undo the change, or click Accept and Go To Conflict to assign a new shortcut to the other command or tool.
When you're finished changing shortcuts, do one of the following:
To save all changes to the current set of keyboard shortcuts, click the Save Set button . Changes to a custom set are saved. If you're saving changes to the Photoshop Defaults set, the Save dialog box opens. Enter a name for the new set and click Save.
To create a new set based on the current set of shortcuts, click the Save Set As button . In the Save dialog box, enter a name for the new set in the Name text box, and click Save. The new keyboard shortcut set will appear in the pop-up menu under the new name.

how do I get this topic deleted?
Over dramatic much?
the picture is not that bad, it is emo/goth but not industrial. it's okay for a head i guess is there anymore to this or is this it?
Teken in the early morning hours after i got off work.

I drew my version of the predator once, but i can say that this one turned out a lot better than mine.
Fetus you got a lot of sketches. I like all the odd colors you use. looks like you getting in tons of practice.
Looks pretty good. Like the colors. Only thing that i can critique you on is the pose, it looks a little odd. Maybe it's just because of the twist in the body, not to sure. Good piece though, nice job.
Here is a quick 15 minute sketch. This is the rough draft for my 100 themes #12 Insanity piece. i already have the second draft done and there are slightly different. I changed up some stuff to make it look a little better.
Okay here is a southpark one i started in design class. The only reason i made it was because we had missed a few classes because of snow. It was going to be a 3 to 5 page short, 4 panels per page. I only got around to drawing the first page but i will eventually finish it. This took me about 2 hours maybe 3, im not too sure. I got some extra credit in class for having it in my portfolio, so i guess i own Matt and Trey part of my grade.
The first picture is pretty good, i like the concept. As for your inkblot, that is a clown all the way, not a very nice one at that.
constructive criticism
I would have to say that your color scheme sucks balls. The layout is not that good either, over all i would have to say you need to go back to the drawing board.

Pretty though, love the pleasing colors!
I would have to agree. not surreal, but very pleasing.
what program are you using to do this? Photoshop has the pen tool that will make your line work smooth. It looks okay, but i would just leave it be until you figure out how to smooth your drawing out a bit.
Practice makes better draws, it doesn't make things perfect.
I think you spelled Ferrari wrong. Nice pic though, have fun drawing everyones requests.

Well I suppose if they are being praised it must look good. Your art work is a little messy, if it were cleaned up a bit it probably would make the piece as a whole look a lot better. I never said your piece was bad, I had just trying to imply that placing hand drawn art over a real photo can be very tricky and can make your art look worse that it may actually be.
Plus i am viewing your piece by comparison to stuff like this below. See how clean the art looks compared to the background. This is not mine btw, it was done by As-Soul, i am just using it to show what i am trying to say.

dont you already have a "what to draw, someone tell me what to draw" thread? You should have at least put a picture in the thread to help it possibly keep from being locked or deleted.

The men on your old account are ok, they just seem kinda metro and girlie.
I like this one too. do you have a link to your entire album on photobucket so we can see it.

This one would have to be the best one so far. But i have a problem with the wings. I think they should have been drawn onto the girl not photoshop layered behind her with the blur, it makes it look sort of cheap. Love the pose, and the anatomy is getting better. not to fond of the vector whatever it is up in the left hand corner either.

Your Drow is very nice. I like that fact that she has curves. Do you have anymore pieces to show?

I would suggest keeping the background stuff more subtle... like the outline on the rocks and the ground under the paratrooper... to make the characters more discernible. Right now it's sort of a big ...blob. Other than that... it looks good :D

make the diver a little bigger, but not a whole lot bigger. move him just left of center, so he stands in front of the left tentacle of your beast. then just polish it up.
plus if you really feel that your tube idea was the best you shouldnt second guess yourself. compromise only works in art if you are doing it for a client that pays, other than that every one else can blow a hard one.
It's nice. I know how hard it can be to do hair, digitally, every time i try it turns out horrible. But here you stated you didn't spend much time on it which doesnt necessarily mean you can do it. I dont think it detracts from the overall product. I like the soft glow you made for her skin. she must be a pretty good friend for her to let you draw her half naked. good job on the piece.
