try the peoples sprites, they might have it.

some image files can be changed just as easy as renaming the file.

someitmes you dl a pic and its an unreadable format just right click rename and and the picture extension and viohla you can see it and use it.

try not downloading materials like that on p2p programs, they circulate bad files to get you to dl them and then you get bad viruses or hard drive cloggers.

get them from reliable sources download. com or the maker of the program. or get a copy from a friend and then purchase a new registery code.

you may not earn more experience points but by frequently voting you earn the blam and protection points.

i think they should change the level up to suit the user not the board. if i want to watch and vote on 100 flash i should earn the 100 points not just the daily 5. or at least they should up the point value as you move up the rank. i.e 5 points per day levels 1-5 10 points 5-10 so on and so forth.

my 2 cents...

when it comes to marking an abussive review. does anyone know just how many points it takes to go from whistle to whistle? i know that everyone says getting a silver whistle is easy, but what is the point ratio for whistling a flash and marking a review, does anyone know?

im not against parodies per say but it does get old when the portal gets flooded by the same parodies during a day, the most recent i can think of was the toof spoofs. man i was so tired of toof after that day, but i watched them all because you get to see how people look at things in thier point of view. why should only one person be able to make a spoof about something. let everyone get in on the fun, we will protect the ones we like and blam the ones we dont.

and when exctly are these stickers supposed to be shipped anyway?

post marked by sept 19th... thats about a month and a half.. 47 days now by my math, and i have yet to receive stickers.. hope i didnt send in my fanart pic for nothing.

does it normally take so long to slap a few stickers in a self addressed stamped envelope and go to the post office?

anyway sept and oct flash prizes were pretty sweet, wonder whats instore for this months prizes, not like im going to win one.. i havent got anything together that would stand a chance.

i just was about to... after i put the finishing touches on the sig and when i hit export my program locked up and it closed so now i have to rebuild it.

lesson still not learned after working with photoshop and cooledit pro and just about any design program.... SAVE OFTEN.

hello flash experts.

i am currently working on an animated gif in flash mx pro. on the settings for export i have html, flash and gif selected. when i preview html and flash i get the animated file, but when i preview gif animation all i see is frame 1. am i doing something wrong?

i am trying to make an animated gif signature for a BB and thought id do it in flash... is this possible even.

anyway, any help would be appreciated.

i know i have been asking a lot of questions lately but im trying to learn as best as i can.

thanks for the help with the actionscript i got that one fixed. i still dont have the blur thing going on but im using flash mx pro so if anyone has the dealio on the way to achieve that id appriciate it.

if anyone could help me out it would be great. below is an AS for the shake movement for a movie clip on stage.

scenario: i want to make certain words shake on the screen like when you watch a movie and the credits shake, but i wanted to use actionscripting instead of putting a ton of instances on the stage and trying to get them to look right.

problem: i make my movie clip of the words "in association with" i double click the symbol to edit it and hit f9 and add the below AS. then i drag as instance of this sybol into the screen and test it. every time i get an error. am i doing something wrong?

second thing i would like to knowis this, i have watched a lot of flash on this site and i see this cool transition and i haven't been able to figure out how to replicate it. it is where you have a scene and there is stuff in the background and to make the focus go to the characters or what have you in the front the back ground is blurred out. and if you want the background in focus the foreground is blurred out.

now i have read several tutorials on how to do this but it says to use photoshop to achieve the blur. only thing i see wrong with that is how do you photshop blur a moving picture?

i am currently working on my first newgrounds flash and id like to make sure i fix the problems i have before i submit it.

all help would be grealty appreciated.

if i am not mistaken you can go to flashkit to get that AS for random movement. there is also one posted on kirupa .com as well. see if those help you out. i was going to give you the one i have but i have not been able to locate it as of yet... if i find it ill post it here.

I have my submission ready.. today is Sept 16 im putting it in the mail. If anyone is interested i put it up on deviantart as well, seeing that you have to send the submission in i needed to make a scan of it.

I look forward to seeing all the other submissions or the top ones if they are going to post them somewhere.
