I think the style of drawing suits the jokes brilliantly. I really like them

It's very good for a first attempt reminds me of John Goto's photoshop work.

Obviously there's different meanings in his pictures but the style I feel is similar,
John Goto is certainly a good inspiration to the fresh photoshopper.

you know what? I think he got improved. I mean his drawings in his portfolio are less scethy, but they got many flaws in proportions and perspective. In the drawing in this thread, he had corrected those flaws as I see.

I was inspired and attempted to recreate using photoshop alone. I've given up however.

I've tried to guide you in the right direction with a little pictorial photoshop tutorial. It's not perfect but hey! The colours were fine that you used, but it was a bit 'rigid' so you just need to experiment with tones and shades, and also smudge your shadows a tad, makes them much better.

And never be afraid to use filters and textures they can transform a great picture into a masterpiece! :D

I tried to help give you an idea, but I'm not overly pleased with it and its frustrating me to the nth degree! But thought I'd share... Photoshop is USUALLY great for coloring and is a preferred choice for most artists.

Also before any saids it, yes i nicked a lens to paste onto this picture. Because I didn't wanna draw one from scratch (and it would of been terrible if i tried)

Also in photoshop I rendered a lens flare to double as the flash going off and I quit like how that bit turned out.

Advice: Scan your pictures and experiment. :D
