Okay, I got a nice shoegazer tone here

Amp Model: 1987 Jazz Clean
Cab Model: 2x12 1987 Jazz Clean

Drive: 3
Bass: 6.5
Middle: 8
Treble: 9
Volume: 5

Other things (FX and stuff):
Gate:
- Threshold: -51db
- Decay: 60%
Stomp: Classic Distortion
- Drive: 81%
- Gain: 100%
- Tone: 38%
Mod: Sine Chorus
- Speed: 1.04Hz
- Depth: 100%
- Bass: 51%
- Treble: 80%
- Mix: 100%
Delay: Digital Delay
- Time: 860ms
- Feedback: 41%
- Bass: 50%
- Treble: 50%
- Mix: 43%
Reverb: Cavernous
- Predelay: 70%
- Decay: 50%
- Tone: 50%
- Mix: 61%

Thats basically it. A little complicated, but play around with the compression and EQ to fit your guitar. I just love the tone of shoegaze music such as My Bloody Valentine. Have fun with this one.

I think you would have to get permission from whoever did the recording.

Damn I didn't....who did he/she steal it from?

Well long time ago, there was this person on NG called MusicalSerenity. He uploaded stolen tracks, but somehow managed to full everyone. He was a respected forum regular and artist. I forget who figured out he was uploading stolen music, but he was found out. He gave away all his alt accounts, which had all stolen music on it. Kaija was one of them. Apparently it was his aunt's music that he uploaded without her permission.

I think thats how the story went.

Cody by Mogwai

Of all I knew, her held too few.
And would you stop me, if I try to stop you.

Old songs stay 'til the end.
Sad songs remind me of friends.
And the way it is, I could leave it all
And I ask myself, would you care at all.

When I drive alone at night, I see the streetlights as fairgrounds
And I tried a hundred times to see the road signs as Day-Glo.

Old songs, stay till the end.
Sad songs, remind me of friends.
And the way it is, I could leave it all
And I ask myself, would you care at all.

second, I create and sell trance loops to people in the area. I suppose you could call that DJing. This is just for cash, however. I normally spend my time creating full tracks in FL.

Not bad for beginners I suppose. They an learn how to use FX channels and stuff instead of just using presets.

But one thing is slow down. You were talking way to fast. I don't know if you were nervous or just trying to fit as much information into 10 minutes.

also are you even a real DJ or is that just for the names sake?

Not a bad overview of the genre, but I think these kind of tutorials are a bad idea. People will follow these 'rules' too closely and end up making bland trance music with no experimentation, because they don't know any better.

Its best when a producer try to mimic a sound without any help, because it usually doesn't come out to what they want, but it is a unique sound.
