I dunno, maybe it's fine. But what's the matter of redoing something exactly the same way, that already exist?

Planes, trains, and automobiles are definitely needed to help the composition.

As I wrote before I will definitely add planes (military jet planes, don't know the proper term for it.). I have less place for cars, but I have a note with cars in the picture.
As you can see the whole composition is tilted (that's why the city is at an angle). If I would make her torso up right now, and she swings her arms back like in your example, she would lose her balance and fall on her back. Because with her stomping foot she would also push her back. So she needs to lean forward to maximize her weight, too.
She is stomping with her heel first, for maximum destruction. My scene shows the direct impact so I need to add effects too. To understand this better, it's based on a Dōjinshi where she had already stepped on that city, by my favorite Dōjinshi circle. So in this case I tried to draw how it might look before she stepped on that city.

A small legal preview of the picture (by Eichikei), on which is my illustration based on so you might better understand (you can click on the small image to get a bit bigger one with more details): http://www.doujinshi.org/book/646290/.

I link to where I bought it.

Of course there are many differences, I challenged myself to get close to the original without copying it in any way, I try to create the scene while she stomps. I don't know this could be called (a reshot maybe?). Of course my style is different and there are differences but I try to reproduce this scene but the moment before she already destroyed some of these buildings. Excuse my poor English.

I think shadow sounds nice to me, but what is with the bounce light?
Maybe it's fine to break some rules to make her not to a sex object in this case.
Nice sketch but I think her left thigh is too long. The problem with your sketch If I would make her foot this close to the viewer I had to draw much more buildings.

:If you scale down a building with the same materials to the size where it would fit easily under a human foot I believe it would stand up to a decent amount of force.

Depends on what happened. If you shrink down an object and its mass would be same as before, it would automatically get denser and harder to destroy. But it's impossible, think of a human that is 2 cm tall and would weight still 176 pounds.
In this case, her size and everything else about her linearly increased. While her environment keeps the same. Unfortunately I don't know anything about building static. All I know is that the buildings are already compromised by their own weight. But I don't know how much extra weight they can hold.

You are totally right her hip is tilted, but if I would correct it
I would need to draw her pantsu aswell, that's why her right leg has no butt cheek,
but it should remain somehow appropriate (not ecchi). Any suggestions?

Because if I add her butt cheek so that you can see that her hip is tilted, I would need to draw her crotch as well to be honest.

Yeah I already had notes for clouds and jet planes on it. Air pollution sound interesting I wasn't aware of that, thank you.
Also it's a Work in Progress it's just 40% finished I would guess.

I don't why I'm saying this, but I think her size is ridiculous.
Personally I don't think if someone that gigantic would exert a lot of effort to destroy buildings that small.

Nice sketch. Yes, it is bizarre and not everyone's taste, no offense and I like just some of the 巨大娘 art (not the silly real ones or else, just some less manga styled drawings, that were done with a lot of effort from some my favorite artists) because of the perspective and maybe because it does not represent women as weak.

Besides this I think you are right, but it is some kind of emotional exaggeration, I also wouldn't say that she puts much effort to destroy the buildings (so far I didn't add a speed effect for her stomping leg), she is really angry and it's definitely some kind of overkill. Even in the anime she is unbelievably strong physically, and can destroy almost everything by one hit.
If she would really do this with her strength at this size she would destroy the whole planet, I think.

Great values. Keep it up.

Response to: What are your inspirations? Posted December 13th, 2013 in Art

It's late.

Art from other artists inspire me. Like ArtGerm, Charlie Bowater, "Range" Murata and many other amazing people. Also certain anime/manga. Sometimes I really like a character and then I'm focused on it and definitely want to do fanart or else.
When I try to fall asleep I get mostly my ideas. I think it's much easier to get new inspiration at the time before you fall asleep. If I doze I automatically get pictures in my head. Excuse my poor English, can't describe it better. However, if I try to force to get an idea, I won't get then they are never as good as the ones I didn't forced.

Response to: Need your critiques for my wip arts Posted December 13th, 2013 in Art

Thank you, of course it's fanart.
Morgiana is a character from Magi - The Labyrinth of Magic. And even Manga faces are based on the reality, so if you don't know how a real face looks like (proportions/placement/muscles) you get trouble with drawing manga face as well.

Look this video by Sycra then you will understand the jawbone or the nose that you can barely see in this style and that even manga depends on the understanding of a real human face.

Sadly I won't post any clean W.I.P. anymore. Because it also happened that some my pictures were uploaded without my permission elsewhere. So this is also to protect unfinished work.

In this case I'm unsure about my values at some point.

That's sad I came to Newgrounds for critique, Jazza mentioned in one of his videos, if you need critique Newgrounds is the right place.

Need your critiques for my wip arts Posted December 13th, 2013 in Art

Hello,
I want to improve and critique is very important for an artist, so I need a thread where I can post my "W.I.P." Art to get some critique from you. So I would really appreciate suggestions, or if you see some mistakes, tell me them.

First is Shingeki no kyodai musume. Kyodai Morgiana or else Morujiana.
I think next will be Sanada Yukimura with a similar subject.

In short:
I make a reference sheet for other artists about feet. And everyone can suggest his favorite character from certain shows or mangas, if he wants. I might implement them as well. Excuse my poor English.

I just want to make it clear: So you want her to appear in the reference sheet about feet, right?
Yes it is ok

But if yes, I think I need to draw her in some other clothes, or else it would get a questionable rating because of the skimpy outfit.
I have a picture with a different outfit in this post.

So it is also a little challenge for me.
Good luck,
you might show some progress as you go along.

Okay I will implement her as well and credit you. But I will just show some process with your character, it doesn't make sense to show off too much of the sheet before it's done. That's why my preview is cropped.

Response to: Multi-Image Posting & RTE in Blogs! Posted December 5th, 2013 in NG News

Seriously, someone should correct the black text selection color into a more eye friendly one. You can barely see what you have selected in the new blog post system. Because of the very dark grayish background. Excuse my poor English. Besides this, it's fine.

I will provide credit, when it's done. Except you misunderstood and you want to withdraw.

But if yes, I think I need to draw her in some other clothes, or else it would get a questionable rating because of the skimpy outfit. So it should not contain ecchi. Currently working on stylize examples. It will be nothing adult, cause it should be created just as a reference or guideline for other artists that are struggling with feet. Also it will contain X-ray views for the bones for the anatomy part. So an all in one sheet. It's already a huge file because I work with 450 dpi resolution. Will also contain a coloring part. So there is still place for some characters from certain shows/games/manga or some OCs. So it is also a little challenge for me.

I want to draw female characters. Posted December 5th, 2013 in Art

First excuse my poor English.
I am currently creating a feet reference/anatomy/tutorial sheet for everyone, because I need to practice them. So I currently study them. Also I want to put some guest stars from different Mangas/Animes or Games in there. I already did a few, but you can suggest also female characters even your own OC, but my style focuses on aesthetic. Because the sheet will be a mix out of full or half body poses. But it also has single turnarounds of the foot.

Also I explain the differences between both genders. And compare their feet and also the proportions of their shoes.
In the end the original creators (if is it your character you get credit of course too) will get of course credit, also the sheet will be published under a CC License and get colored.

I kindly provide a small preview of the character poses where they show off their feet.

I want to draw female characters.

Response to: Time-Lapse / Speedpaint Art Posted October 1st, 2013 in NG News

Yes. Depending on the speed paint you can learn a lot from it also they are good to explain things in a short time, if you do a tutorial you could time-lapse unnecessary parts as well. Sorry for bad English.
