I've had the same problem!!!!!!!
I've been cooking/baking all week, and for like the last 3 days, I've had no appetite at all.
Anyway, I'm happy to see the sick people back, <3 you all, and Merry Christmas.

that is what i will say if i am ever confronted for not tipping.
In America, most waiters/waitresses don't make minimum wage, they make like half of that.
I know around here, waiters/waitresses make like 2 or 3 bucks an hour and the rest have to come from tips.
and salary pay is a pay scale where you get money bi-weekly or monthly. State/city/federal employees make salaries. Waiters and Waitresses get paid by the hour, they don't make a salary.

for example...
if a waiter walks to the table and leaves me there for like 20 mins, no tip
if the host/ess takes me to the sushi bar (or regular bar) im not tipping them for escorting me.
if the waiter/tress is rude, even once, no tip.
but if i have a good experience i get 10% tip... i dont do 20% fuck that
See, and I thought I was the only person left on this planet who still tips like that.
I totally base my tip on service (the waiter/waitress) not the food or w/e because I know they don't cook it.
For a regular average dine in meal (20-30 dollar tab), I usually tip around 5 bucks. If the service is very good, I leave 10.
I was told to take the tax and double it, but meh.
Don't listen to a bunch of people who have never been in the situation, that's a recipe for disaster. People are gonna post their opinions, which is cool, but they have no idea, they haven't been in your shoes.
Weigh your values and your feelings. Weigh her values and her feelings.
KNOW ABOVE ALL THAT HAVING THE BABY IS PERMANENT. AND IT TURNS INTO A CHILD. THAT MUST BE SUPPORTED. It's your responsibility. If you choose to give it life, then that life takes precedence over yours. and if it doesn't, then you don't deserve to be a parent.
Lastly, don't get married. If you do have it, don't marry her, at least right now. Marrying someone because you're pregnant or she's pregnant is very stressful and sometimes it works, but usually it doesn't.
I am VERY happy your parents are supporting both options. Discuss these with them in detail.
and go online and find stories/forums/groups for abortion/adoption/teen pregnancy so you can see a variety of view points.
Make your decisions SOON. It will be easier on everyone. Abortions performed early are less harmful to the mother. On the other hand, should you choose to keep it, she needs to be taking very good care of herself. No smoking/drugs/alcohol/ should be taking vitamins.
I have been in your shoes, granted I was a little older (17). I will not post what I chose, I do not want to influence you. But I'm happy with my decision.
Volunteers of America will help you if you choose adoption, and they also have a very helpful program should you choose to keep your baby.
Good luck.
I feel like it was rushed/ poorly planned. And I know I haven't seen it yet, so this is just me being pessimistic, but it's a story with so much potential. They could make a really good movie and I have a feeling this will be one of those "good but coulda been better" things. We'll see. Maybe I'll be wrong.
I may also be a little bias because I'm a Depp fan....and that's okay because I'm older than most of you whippersnappers. I don't know who's cool right now, but I'm sure I hate him.

I'll make you Easter cookies!

Hatred implies peanut butter. Why else create a substance that drives you crazy if you don't have a glass of milk?
I made these things where you take ritz crackers, put peanut butter between them, and then dip them into melted chocolate.
sooooooooooo good
I ate most of them, yall are lucky you're getting any at all.

I'd cash in on a back rub as soon as I opened the booklet.
Any back rub is a good one in my opinion.
and I like that last idea, thats sweet!
The douches are gonna be like " lul thats lame $%#@#@#!" but they're not getting any and you are so screw them.
My obvious side in me read CNN saying "natural causes" while the common sense side of me is saying " bullshit you dont die of natural causes at 32"
and the kid in me loves the frosted side!!!!!11

Brian, it's cool homie, I sent yours regular mail, so I apologize ahead of time if it doesn't get there in time.
Der Lowe's I'm not sure, his address is international and appears to have like his latitude and longitude or something in it....His make take a little longer.
and they charged me 20 extra bucks to send stafff's package because apparently he lives in the Twilight zone.
Like Twilight the awesome scifi show, not the stupid vampire crap.
Fli, we need more ghost stories like that, with a good plot and good character development to make the audience think. Good luck with it. Is it written as a script/screen play or more like a book? Because that'd make a good novel imo as well.
FUNK you bastard stop your bitching. If you'd have PMed me your mailing address I'd have sent you cookies.
COOKIES MADE OF HATRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All of you people who I normally make cookies for , for Christmas, I sent them out today, along with quite a few Christmas cards.
I can't send you things if you're not on my list, so if you want on for next year, PM me your address. I know I sent several cards, and 4 packages.
Offtopic, fli, that's great news. Have you posted that script/story anywhere on here? Or is it something you've been exclusively submitting out your way?
<-------- jealous
I heard we may get more snow though. *fingers crossed*
This thread title is my most favorite so far.
Also make sure you don't have swine flu, have some bacon. If you keep it down, it's not swine flu.

Thats okay sugar, I just bought the stuff today to make all of ya'lls, so I won't be getting gifts out til this weekend.
Happy Birthday sir.
I got you birthday pizza!

Leaving comments couldn't hurt either. This might actually mean a little extra income for me, and lordy knows I be in need of it right now. Can't do that without views though so help a brother out. I'd support your endeavors...theoretically.
Well, I wouldn't condemn them anyway...unless it was illegal...well ok, as long as you gave me a cut...
Awesomeness Keith, it was a great introduction.
I'm glad you're getting your name out in more places. Your columns= win
and maybe more people will come by TEC.
and maybe some of the crappy female admins who have been too busy at work will go by there more often too.
On the topic of fire,
yes.

I have Vista/AidsHerpes on my computer and it randomly decides to block random websites and not let me return to them.
I'd been using IE to come to NG on here for at least a year now and all of a sudden I could go to every single website except NG.
So I ended up trying firefox and google chrome with no success.
Now Im using Opera and it works like a charm.
So in short, yes, try some other browsers.
I know you're probably sick of hearing this because it's cliche, but honestly, time will fix it.
and I know because I've been there. I was in a 4 year relationship that ended very very badly and just like you, I couldn't avoid this person, for similar reasons.
and it took months, but eventually, I realized the split was for the best and now I don't even think about him anymore.
He's part of the past, and that's where he stays. and I'm happy.
You will be too.
Get rid of that hate right now. Holding onto that will kill you inside. and those aren't the lyrics to some emo breaking benjamin song. That's more words of experience.
Good luck sir.

No, not at all. You're right in that it needs to be something romantic or sentimental or of meaning too. I didn't mean to sound argumentative in my post. I agreed, I just also wanted to point out that I'm a chick and I dig things that are functional and practical. and then the girly things that TV wants men to buy us, we don't all want.

If you're going to go to college at all, any major, you need to know it.
and if you're gonna say, " I'm not going to college" then good luck finding a decent job.
I had a horrible time with algebra. I was mentally retarded when it came to math.
I had to study my ass off, but I did , and I passed.
and you can too if you feel like it.
Also, whoever accused him of lying about being 13 because 13 year olds don't do algebra, that's not true. I remember taking pre algebra in 7th grade and we had to find x and y etc etc and I'm only moderately old compared to you youngsters.
I live in the south and last week we got like an inch of snow and I was ecstatic. We usually never even see it, ever.
But yuck blizzards. Losing power blah
Send me some of your snow and we can even it out.

Unless she's incredibly unorthodox, she isn't going to want something practical like this. Even girls that like games don't really want a game from their boyfriend; it's probably better to get her something a bit more personal.
I'm female and I don't mind practical gifts. and you may be a female, I dunno, didn't check your profile, but I thought you were male.
I'm one of those "its the thought that counts" people anyway. If she's gonna get hung up over a gift then she's not worth his time.
I will say, as a chick, the whole "Just get her some shit with hearts on it" annoys the hell outta me.
I'd MUCH rather a fella put some thought into getting me something I like, that's relevant to my interests. Not whatever the media is marketing.
but w/e, thats my 2 cents and in today's economy, that's worth nothing.
If you ever played Fallout 2, there was a Super Mutant you could add to your party, Marcus, who was a beast with a minigun, but never payed attention to who was in front of him. I had to reload my game so many times because poor dogmeat was shot in half.....
I can't believe her husband is okay with her sitting at home and doing something so unproductive all day long while he's working hard.
How the hell is she playing video games from her kitchen while she makes his sandwiches?

OP, I have them all and Point Lookout is by far my personal favorite, but like another user posted above, Broken Steel really is a must have for anyone who truly enjoyed the game. Kinda wraps things up.
The Pit was okay, Operation Anchorage bored me and like the other person posted, was a wanna be FPS and I still haven't finished Mothership Zeta or w/e because it doesn't really hold my attention either .
I love Owl City, and that isn't even the type of music I tend to listen to.
I will say, I liked them way before the fireflies thing.
They have a song called Saltwater Room and I liked it first. But I love that album.
I don't really give a shit if no one else likes it, only 12 year old douches honestly judge people on what they listen to. and if you're over 12 and judge me for liking a band, I don't give a fuck, in my mind you're 12.
and short. with a small penis. reeeaaaaaly small.
