Sounds fun. I just moved into my dorm at School of Visual Arts last Sunday. Classes don't start until next tuesday though. :/

I was going to go there. I was tied between three schools before I decided on uArts. I'm happy where I am, but SVA is an absolutely amazing school and I'm sure I would love it there just as much.

I have a friend that goes there. He's going into Cartooning or 3D animtion or something. I'll hook you gusy up if you want. What are you going into?

So I've been gone for a little bit. I've just been doing my own things mostly, getting some work done, hanging out with friends before they all go back to school at the end of summer, and playing a lot of volleyball actually. The olympics the past week or so have completely absorbed me and I'm obsessed. Nearly all events are absolutely intoxicating. I loves them.

I see that since I've been gone the thread was locked, and then re-opened. Thats interesting. I'm not at all surprised. I'm sure this will be locked for good one day, like the last one. It is the nature of the thread...

Either way, I'm still around and I'l check in from time to time, but probably not as much. Now that summer is winding down and school will be starting again hopefully I'll be more busy with more rewarding things to be done. I'll pop back and again. This is no goodbye at all, I'm just explaining that I am not yet dead and don't hate you all.

I just got back from the APW Festival and my legs could not be any more destroyed. This was the first festival I've ever been to.

Girl Talk put on one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life and Radiohead was simply amazing as always. Lots of fun had today.

I agree with the harder hat idea. Maybe a shrink powerup that makes your smaller so it's easier to dodge the objects. You definitely got some good things going on in there.

I like it, but I feel like the eye shadow doesn't really match the rest of the face. The shading and mouth are very polished and look really refined, while the black around the eyes is pretty messy. I'd work on that a little bit more, but keep it up, it's looking cool.

I forgot to add, I print all of my cut-outs onto card-paper. It's slightly thicker than regular printer paper and it helps make them more solid. Might want to try it out next time if you hadn't all ready.

I think it looks pretty good. I agree about some of the background buildings looking out of place when they get too small. Also, put some variation in the clouds. Besides that, it's looking like it'll be a cool game.

Here's what I was working on yesterday. I'm hoping to start a new flash project soon, and now that I see PMF is on the way, looks like I'll have two things to work on...

That was beautiful man. I'm sure your girlfriend loved it! The effort put into that definitely shows, and it's easy to tell which scenes/moments of the event you really enjoyed and cared about. Especially when you two first meet and all the colors pour out from around you. It feels like that, sometimes, doesn't it?

Also, NegativeOne, myself, and Deathcon7 who pops in every now and then are the only current surviving members of the Original lounge. Just to sort that out.

Why is it important to be a regular? If I were you I'd spend my time making a name for yourself somewhere outside of a lounge with only a handful of returning members. Maybe establish yourself as a helpful person on the forums, or maybe make a series that hits big on NG. It really isn't that cool to be well known on a BBS...do something else with your time.

I met my long time internet friend and programmer in person for the first time this weekend.

We've talked and planned and collabed on ideas for over 4 years now...it was great to finally meet in person.

We brainstormed a bunch and now have quite a list of solid things we can accomplish in the next couple years. All good things to come, I thinks...
