So, do you have any good ideas or solutions on how to do that?
Bonus internet points if you can come up with something unconventional.

I wish I could move mountains with my mind.

"How are you, senpai?"
Oh, I'm having a great day Croni-kun. I woke up, worshipped my ancestors, and practiced some calligraphy. Then I had a tasty breakfast of Tamagoyaki, and some Nori, along with some Okayu, and some Miso soup. I finished it off with a fine cup of Japanese tea. The whole time I was wearing a traditional Japanese Kimono. It has been a fine morning.
How are you this morning, hakase?

All I know is that generally women's bathrooms have longer lines then men's bathrooms do, so it makes sense to have a 2:1 ratio simply for reasons of congestion. That seems like as good a reason as any to do something like this, so I don't see a big problem with it. I don't know if putting it into law is necessarily the best way to solve the problems like this though, or how they would determine if it improving bathroom access or congestion over time. Some businesses may serve a largely male clientele in which case they really wouldn't need a 2:1 ratio. On the other side, some business serve a largely female clientele and they might want 3:1 or 4:1.
Anyway, if you want a world that is completely fair and just you're going to have to go off planet. It simply doesn't exist here and I'm not sure we'd know how to do it, even if we consciously tried too. If you let every bit of inequity in your life annoy you, you're going to be annoyed all the time. This may be off-putting, but seeing as there didn't seem to be any lines out the door of either of the 3 restrooms, it would appear to be working as well. I mean hell, there are billions of people in the world without basic sanitation. Then again, you could live in a country with much more men than women.
If it really bothers you I guess you could try to get the law changed.

Not that I am aware of, but I guess everyone has their own ideas of what is fashionable....even if they're obviously mistaken.

I liked it, but I thought the original script was a little better. To be fair though, the movie was almost three hours long and if everything in the original script was included it could have easily been 5 hours long. That just isn't workable for a modern film. Once you get past the three and a half hour mark you're really pushing it. Even gone with the wind was only 4 hours long and anything longer is unlikely to be a mass market success unless it winds up being split into parts, which wasn't a real option for this film either.
It's finally here. On Sunday Catalonia will hold a non-binding vote for independence. If turnout is high and they get a majority yes vote this may force Madrid to make concessions to the territory. However, it remains very much up in the air whether or not that will occur. What do you guys think will happen?
I drink socially and that is pretty much about it. I have no problem with alcohol, but I don't love it either. It's also kind of pricey compared to other things, so I think of cutting down as a cost saving measure as well.
An animated series about a depraved border collie named Mr. Pickles and the family that loves him, on Adult Swim. Who has seen it and what do you think of it so far? Does anyone think this will be picked up for another season?

I don't really like the idea that the books I've bought are just on my Kindle and I need to stick with the Kindle format if I want to reread them at any point. I'd much rather buy an e-book that I can move to any reader I might feel like buying in the future.
You should try the epub format. It's not supported by the Kindle, but it is supported by virtually every other Ebook reader available. The only format that might have broader support is pdf, though it really isn't an ebook specific format and may lack some features.
Also, there are azw to epub converters out there. Here's an online one that can probably do it. There are also free and fee software that can do the job as well.
So, I saw the movie Interstellar. It was strange, but very enjoyable. Some of the dialogue was not as clear as it could have been though, but that might have more to do with the movie speakers then it had to do with the actual film.

This is someone both hilarious and terrifying. If this is successful can you imagine how many more weird junk food and soft drink parings we might wind up seeing. The possibilities are endless!
Well, I might as well answer my own thread, so here we go.
I do use an EBook Reader, because even though they aren't nearly as pleasant as physical books to read. So long as you get an E-Ink Model and don't turn on any sort of light on the screen it really doesn't strain your eyes that much. They are also much more convenient than a physical book. When I last moved, lugging all my books with me was a huge pain and time consuming, so I decided to transfer as many of them to ebooks as I possibly could. Once I got rid of all those physical books it was amazing how much more mobile I became.
I got a PocketBook Pro 602, because it supports more ebook formats than any other brand, it has a MicroSD card slot that stores up to 32GB (in all likelihood, more books than I will ever read), and it uses EInk so its easier on my eyes and the battery lasts for over a month. It can also play audio books, so thats fun too. It also helped that I go it online for $35, which was a steal. It's my second favorite gadget behind my computer.

What I can't figure out is why they didn't keep the writers from Toy Story 3 on for the next installment. They did such a good job last time around that it stands to reason they would do a decent job on Toy Story 4 as well, given the chance. The time frame is so far away that if they asked them to do it, I'm sure they could have cleared their schedule. I'm guessing there were "creative differences" and they found other writers. That decision doesn't exactly fill me with confidence about the next installment.

It looks like shit is getting real...again. If I had to guess, I'd say this conflict will last on and off as least as long as sanctions remain on Russia. Right now Russia and the West are in a sort of game of chicken. We'll see who blinks first, but I wouldn't bet on it being Russia.
